We were only there for a layover before our cruise so we didn’t really use the amenities other than the fitness room (had all that I needed to get a good full body weight workout done), and the Algortherm Spa (we had a couples massage -well done-and used the steam room there. The resort needs a little bit of a makeover. Honestly, if they just spruced up all the hallways that are brown/off-white with some brighter colors, I think that would do wonders. "They didn’t have facecloths and though everything was super modern, the fancy washbasins didn’t hold water, it cascaded down a slope. Had to have water running to rinse a razor. Not a hand basin that I’d install."

"Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by."

"We really enjoyed our stay here - everything was as described/stated - maybe the weather could have been a bit nicer but that is not up to the resort 😉. Overall the resort is very well maintained esp. given the hot and humid climate. The coral garden with its variety of fish was really amazing and we drift snorkeled there quite a few times. In front of our beach bungalow we spotted several rays and one baby reef shark as well."

"Lovely setting, very relaxing. Snorkeling and kayaking were available free of charge. The food was delicious! French Polynesian and very fresh. Great location for seeing the island with our rental car. Would definitely go back !"

"I am very torn what to write. The whole place is a piece of art when it comes to how it looks and how all the details are designed. But then you also feel like you can’t really use it because functionality is limited. It is also hard to keep the room clean, if there so many details/knickknacks standing around. The location is great, the open area with sun lounges at the water too (besides there being a security camera positioned right by the sunbeds), you can see so many fishes snorkeling...

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."
