"Internet was good and staff very pleasant. They made me porridge & asked how I'd like it made & gave me gluten free bread toasted as requested. I was in a room directly over the bar area so was a bit noisy but was all quiet by 11pm so was able to get a good sleep. Lovely room!"

"I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"

"It's not possible to explain how fantastic the staff were. I got stuck and called the emergency number and the team were amazing and helped. On to the normal nitty gritty: there is plenty of parking, you need to log your reg number when you check in on to their tablet. Rooms are nice, not too fancy but the bed was super comfortable and you have blackout blinds if you want to have a lay in. The bathroom was super clean, and a great size. The only issue (which is not the hotel's fault!) is taxis...

"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "Check in was easy and the staff were amazing during my entire stay. I stayed in a single room, the room was surprisingly spacious and well laid out and had a decent sized bathroom. Couple of things to note: Room was on the third floor, there is no elevator. Not too much of a problem as the stairs are not steep or narrow.
