Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. "The owners are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. And it is a great location, less than 25 minutes to Jindabyne, but a lovely quiet spot. Plenty of food options for dinner as well. And the complimentary breakfast was great. Have no hesitation to recommend. "
