"This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. "Beautiful room, very clean, very tidy, very good condition. Had an amazing Thai evening meal, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was freshly cooked and also perfect, right down to tbe request for well done bacon. Very good value, brilliant stay, will be back if im in tbe area. "

"C'était un vendredi et le pub servait alors il y avait un peu de bruit avec la fenêtre ouverte. Mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. On est allé boire un coup également. L'hôtel n'est pas moderne, mais très confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment très bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journée très proche et très pratique pour charger et décharger les affaires. Le personnel est très dynamique, sympathique,le petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous avons apprécié notre nuit ! "

"Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. "
