"What a brilliant find for a quick 1 night stop we found for when visited family - highly recommended and would definitely use again !"

"Very convenient hotel in centre of town. Onsite parking, nice big rooms and nice bed. No aircon, but staff went out of their way to provide a fan on request! Good breakfast. Large outside seating area, but unfortunately next to the car park so not very atmospheric. Entertainment provided by lots of seagulls - guard your chips!"

"We initially walked straight past reception as it wasn't immediately obvious, the receptionist was hidden behind the very high desk and certainly wasn't the most helpful - I don't think she wanted to be there! The room was ok but the lack of light was an issue when trying to read in bed and it was very hot and stuffy (obviously not helped by this weather, but it took me a couple of days to be able to open the window.) The bathroom was lovely and clean with toiletries provided and plenty of towels. All in all it was an OK stay, but I wouldn't rush back."

"The location was great, and tranquil/ quiet, yet easy to get to Exeter and Exmouth. Lovely hotel seemed top quality. We stayed in a 4 bedroom lodge which was great. Gym was top quality, and swimming etc. housekeeping staff really nice and friendly. Overall it was a great stay, want to stay again soon"
