"The staff were absolutely amazing all going above and beyond, the meals were fabulous and beautiful grounds to explore. There are a lot of stairs to navigate and I wish the windows had screens to keep insects out. For some reason my bathroom didn't have a ceiling fan so the room lacked air circulating which will unfortunately create moisture issues - hopefully this will be fixed."

"The hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful and friendly the food was very nice we ate in the bar area it was very relaxed. If I had one negative it was thst the bed was a little hard it could have done with a mattress topper. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"

"Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day."

"Room was lovely and way bigger than expected. Staff were fantastic and the pub is beautiful with stone floors and wooden beams. Big beer garden with children's play area, although it rained overnight so we couldn't go out and enjoy it but looked fab"
