"Overall the hotel was nice, clean and room was great, but when I went to check in and was asked about paying to park my car in the parking hotel parking lot I was a little confused. Where else would you like me to park my car? I booked and paid for the room for the night I would not expect to pay for parking at the hotel as an additional charge. I would consider staying here again, if there was no where else as the room and hotel was nice, but will look at other commendations first that don't charge a petty fee to park my car in the hotel parking lot in which I drove to stay the night."
"The staff was thorough and very friendly and helpful.
I knew it was an older hotel so I was expecting some blemishes. The room was immaculate and smelled clean though.
There was peeling paint and indents in the walls from the doors being opened into them. There was staining behind the toilet from maybe a water leak.
The bed was perfect. Comfortable, clean and well made. Pillows were a little small. The amenities in the room were great - tv, couch, table, fridge, coffeepot and microwave. The jetted tub was clean and worked wonderfully. A little rust and loose knobs but didn't affect the quality of my bath at all.
I wasn't expecting perfect - I was expecting a good soak and a good night's sleep and I wasn't disappointed. I'd stay there again."
"Such a beautiful, cozy little lodge! The interior is thoughtfully designed, with a warm, rustic atmosphere that made me feel like I was living out my Twin Peaks fantasy. It was a lovely place to come back to after exploring the North Cascades. I also had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. A little off the beaten path, but full of character and charm. I’d happily stay here again!"
"I had notified the hotel of an early check in and they said there was no guarantee because they were booked. Day of arrival the room was ready @ 2:00 p.m. The room was spacious, clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly.
Breakfast was a plus and the coffee was great. Overall I would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
The staff were kind, responsive and professional."
