Modest breakfast but still a good deal

Small hotel around 15 minutes walk from city center. Rooms are fine. Noise from neighbours was annoying maybe due to poor sound insulation. Breakfast was modest but fine. Still a good deal though.

Hotel did the job

The hotel is somewhat isolated, but I knew this ahead of time. It’s only a 15 min walk or so to central Skopje. I had some issues with air conditioning (wasn’t on yet in late May). Americans prefer rooms much colder than the rest of the world; just a note to the hotel and a heads up to anyone thinking of staying here. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Great customer service. Overall a nice stay. Nothing special about the hotel, but no reason not to stay here (assuming you’re ok with the location).

Venninne tur til skopje.

En venninne og jeg reiste til Skopje i slutten av november. Vi booket dette oppholdet pga bra anmeldelse. Bestilte rom med balkong som ligger på noen hundre lapper mer enn et standar dobbelt rom. Da vi ankom hotellet så fikk vi ikke det vi hadde bestilt. Vi fikk et helt vanlig rom uten balkong. Dette klagde vi på, da vi hadde betalt for et litt større rom med balkong. Alle disse rommene var i bruk, så vi fikk vente til neste dag og få rommet vi hadde betalt for. Hadde ikke personale vært veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig så hadde vi ikke ønsket å bodd der. Fikk ingenting refundert, men vi var glade for at de fikset det så raskt det lot seg gjøre. Rommene var helt enkle og fine. Var noen vegglamper og litt baderoms tilbehør som ramlet ned stadig vekk. Man får det man betaler for, helt OK hotell for noen dager på reise.

Zimmer und Hotel ganz gut, der Service ausbaufähig

Das Zimmer war schön und auch groß sowie in gutem Zustand. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt viele Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten sowie bodentiefe Fenster. Die kLimaanlage ist gut. Die Lage ist in Ordnung, man kann bis in die Innenstadt laufen. Der Service war eher mäßig, insbesondere beim Frühstück. Vermutlich wird es am Morgen zurecht gemacht und dann sieht keiner mehr danach (Tische nicht abgeräumt, Spiegeleier und Teewasser kalt, es wird nicht aufgefüllt etc.) Außerdem wird beim Frühstück geraucht (leider in Mazedonien öfter erlebt). Besser außerhalb frühstücken. Entgegen der Angaben gibt es keinen Parkplatz (beziehungsweise können im Innenhof nur zwei Autos stehen, wobei dann nur noch das vordere wegfahren kann). Die meisten müssen daher auf der öffentlichen Straße parken.

Habitacion amplia y limpia. El baño algo justo, pero suficiente, aunque a mitad de ducha tengas que terminar con agua fría. El desayuno es algo justito, pero por encima de la media de la zona. En definitiva relacion calidad precio, el aprobado es con nota.

An excellent hotel close to the city, the staff are knowledgeable,very helpful and friendly. The room we booked was excellent with plenty of space and good amenities. For a very good price we had the Presidential suite.

Ett litet enkelt hotell en bit från centrum. Hotellet är beläget i ett ganska tråkigt område. Inomhuspool utlovades i hotellbeskrivningen, men poolen hålls stängd vinterhalvåret. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal ger ändå ett godkänt betyg. Frukosten också helt okay.
