noisy room.
very noisy room. impossible to shut off the air conditioning machine and the fr8dge during the night. so you need air plugs. heating in the bathroom not working. poor breakfast.

Luxury room for a reasonable price
It was very refreshing to visit such a vegan-friendly hotel. They even prepared tofuscramble which I would have never expected at hotel breakfast.

Utmärkt trevligt hotell med väldigt serviceinriktad personal. De hjälper till med att exempelvis boka utflykter till Matka Canyon samt att boka tider på närliggande skönhetssalong.

The people at Duvet Center hotel were SO nice and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. Overall a very nice hotel.

Sn.ilgili, otelde 2 oda rezervasyon yaptırmama karşılık gidemedim. Benim şikayetim ödeme ile ilgili. İlanlarınızda 70 € olarak bildirilen otel ücreti nedense Makedon parası olarak tahsil ediliyor ve kur farkını müşteriye yansıtıyor. Kredi kartı olduğu için sağolsun banka da fırsatı kaçırmıyor ve oda $ a çevirerek bizi ödüllendiriyor. Kısaca gidip kalsaydım 70'er € dan toplam 410 Tl.ödeyecekken 525 Tl. gibi bir para ödemek zorunda kalıyorum. Banka sizi ilgilendirmez ama otel, ücretini neden kendi ülke parası türünden yansıtıyor. Madem öyle alacak siz neden 70 € diye yayınlıyorsunuz ? Hem otelden, hem bankadan, toplam 410 Tl.ye karşılık 115 Tl. gibi ilave haksız bir ödeme yapan ben (%30 fazla) sizce bir daha sizin siteden rezervasyon yaptırır mıyım ?

A very pleasant surprise!
Outside was quite unassuming with reception on top floor. Once we got inside though, we were warmly welcomed, allowed to check in early and given complimentary coffee and pastries, which we enjoyed while admiring the beautiful views, Room was nicely appointed. Good breakfast. All staff were helpful and friendly.

What a welcome relief!
We arrived early in the day - shortly after noon - and had been traveling since 3:30 am in a series of old cars and buses from Albania through Kosovo and into Skopje. We were ready for the Duvet Hotel! A standard double room was not yet clean and available so Mariana upgraded us to a premium room on the 7th floor that was incredible large and well appointed, complete with leather couch and leather easy chair. In fact, we felt so pampered that we stayed an extra day. The hotel location was fine for us as we are ambitious walkers. It was about 1/3 mile to the central square, about 1/2 mile to the old city and a huge outdoor tourist shipping area. There are other large hotels right in the middle of the action but I cannot believe they would be as nice. The staff and hotel owners were unbelievably helpful and friendly. The reception is on the 8th floor and there is a large lobby filled with leather furniture, serving coffee, capuccino, espresso, etc. all day for free. The breakfasts were quite adequate. The owner arranged for a private car to drive us to Thessaloniki after our two day stay at a reasonable cost of 140 Euros for an almost 3 hour drive. We had planned to take a bus, but were a bit burned out after our last experience. I really recommendd this hotel highly, We would absolutely stay there again if we were to return.

Stayed already many times in Duvet. Beautiful, big rooms. Nearby the center. Very good hotel.

Superb quality and service!!!
Duvet Center Hotel is outstanding! Superb quality and great service all the way! Rooms are luxury, the lounge bar is always open, and offer free coffee (as you prefere) or tea. The breakfast restaurant has a remarkable view of the North Macedonian mountains. The staff is personal and very service minded! And all this you get at VERY affordable prices. We were lucky to get automatic room updates, as there were some rooms free. We didn't even had to ask!The hotel is located 5 min. walk from the city square and close to the stone bridge.

Highly recommended
The hotel is located in the bar and restaurant district of Skopje. It's a 15-minute walk to the Square and Mother Theresa Museum. The staff are very helpful and it makes all the difference. A downside is that the hotel is not on the main airport shuttle route.

Great Location and Excellent Staff
We really enjoyed our stay at the Duvet Center Hotel in Skopje, Macedonia. The hotel is very nice and is in an excellent location. The breakfast buffet was good and the rooms were done up nicely and very spacious. Overall a great trip!

Overrated
Despite the advertisement of a 4-star hotel, this is NOT a 4 star hotel, which might have a negative impact on the value you think you are getting. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Noise. Even with windows closed you can hear passing cars on the busy street next to hotel. Also, on weekends you can CLEARLY hear the music from a disco bar across the street. While on the same subject, you can also hear what's happening in the hallways outside your room. Double whammy. Gym. When I choose a hotel, I try to make sure that it has a fitness center/gym, which was advertised for this hotel. Extreme disappointment is a mild way to put it. It's basically a closet with no windows. There is barely enough space for 2 people to work out at the same time. No free weights. One resistance machine. It's obvious that whoever set this up has ZERO idea about fitness. Breakfast. For a 4-star hotel (as it claims to be), no hot food, except boiled eggs and some sausages.

Responsive staff
The hotel staff is very responsive and has a big impact to the satisfaction of guests. Rooms are large and clean - I really enjoyed the space.

Good Location
Although nearby of the hotel is under construction together with entrance, we are highly satisfied with room facilities, breakfast and location. WE will stay again for sure.

Skopje city center hotel
Great, except for abreken toilet that ran continuously. Problem was reported to staff on two occaisions, but was never fixed. I was offered the option to change rooms. I guess they don't have a water shortage in Skopje.

Bra läge i Skopje
Det var lite svårt att hitta eftersom det var husrenovering och gatuarbete med avstängda gator runt hotellet. Blev också konfunderad över att receptionen låg på översta våningen, men väl på plats var allt perfekt. Fint hotell med trevlig personal, återvänder gärna :-)

Very convenient.
Upon arrival, the staff could not be more helpful. We needed to leave at 3am to catch an early flight and they booked us transport which all got included on the bill which was all very easy. The rooms were a pleasant surprise and extremely spacious. It's in an excellent location with easy walk into city centre but if you turn right directly out of the hotel, it's a really nice neighborhood with nice little bars and restaurants.

Arrived for just a two night stay, hotel is quite new and is positioned in a good location near the city centre, rooms were very clean, modern and nicely decorated, building works on both sides of the hotel are ongoing and did distract the overall appearance,

Good hotel, great service
Had a good time staying in the Duvet Center Hotel. The surroundings are currently not too good because of construction work (no noise problems at all), but there are plenty of great restaurants in the area and a 10 min walk to the city centre. The complimentary breakfast is good and the owner and other hotel staff are very nice and friendly!

Fantastisk upplevelse
Hotell med mycket bra service, trevlig personal med goda språkkunskaper i engelska. Rent och fräscht, stora rymliga rum Fantastisk utsikt från terassen , samtidigt som frukosten blev intagen. Bra standard frukost. Otroligt billigt mat i centrum på fina restauranger. Shopping i den gamla delen av staden , ett rent nöje. Pärlor, silver och billiga kopior av allt. Inte mycket att se i staden, men perfekt om man letar efter semester med god mat, dryck, spa och ren avslappning.

Don't let the first impression scare you away.
Hotel entrance is located next to a rather busy bus stop and there is some construction going on on the side street. Check in for the hotel is on the FIFTH floor…on the bottom floor there is what appears to be a check in counter but it is not active. The rooms in this hotel are some of the largest I saw in the Balkans with a nice homely feel you do not get in many hotels. Huge bed, large wooden desk, two leather chairs, large bathroom with walk in shower. Internet speed was good. I missed breakfast but the restaurant area looked inviting. Again, when I first arrived my initiation opinion was a little bit of a worry but the hotel ended up being a great place to stay in Skopje.

Vi fikk en særdeles dårlig følelse da vi ankom hotellet. For det første, var adressen som expedia.no oppga, feil. Vi jobbet litt for å finne hotellet, og da vi kom frem, så det ut som en byggeplass. Resepsjonen var i femte etasje, og rommene i sjette, sjuende og åttende. Men betjeningen var hyggelig, og rommet var et eventyr, definitivt det største vi har bodd på. Og bra var det også. Frokosten var bra, og bilen, som sto parkert ute på gaten, ble bevoktet hele natten. Beliggenheten rett var City Square var også bra. Mye hotell for pengene.

Great hotel for visiting central Skopje - it's an easy walk to all of the sites you may want to see. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and gave me a great recommendation for a Macedonian restaurant where the food and wine was amazing. The room was large and spacious and well maintained. You should know that the hotel is on the upper floors of the building. I arrived late at night and although there was a sign, there was nobody on the ground floor to direct me to the hotel. Once I got there everything was fine.

Hotel Duvet Skopje
Een erg plezierig, kleinschalig hotel midden in het centrum van Skopje. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel en prima faciliteiten zoals wifi, minibar, waterkoker. In de lobby pc en print mogelijkheden die gratis te gebruiken zijn. Ontbijt is niet erg uitgebreid, maar biedt voldoende keuze.

Pleasant quiet hotel in the middle of Skopje. Small and informal with very helpful staff. Could not be better situated for access to the business and central tourist areas of Skopje.
