Home away from home

We had a very enjoyable stay at this quiet and comfortable guesthouse with courteous hosts and all the comforts of home. The location is also very good, being just a few miles north of Asbyrgi and Dettifoss. I would highly recommend it.

Recently upgraded

This place has had many recent upgrades. Rand new WCs with heated floors. A new patio allows ample room for sitting outside. Located right outside the national park.

Our rental car broke down. They were extremely accommodating and concerned. We needed to wait 8 hours for the new car to be trucked to the guesthouse. Thank you !

Clean, basic hostel, but slept well.

No frills, but it seemed clean and comfortable. The bathrooms on one end are newly redone and and were clean and nice. It was hard to get a toilet/shower in the evening since a large group all arrived at the same time as we did. Many people waiting in line. We arrived later, so did not meet the owners, but they left a room key for us. We had use of a kitchen and storage in the refrigerator.

Séjour au calme

Pas d'accueil presentiel, la cle sur une table et on se debrouille. Sinon, cuisine bien équipée cafetière, equipement cuisine etc... Guesthouse au milieu de nulle part. Bonne etape apres la visite des chutes Dettifoss et Selfoss. Dans l'ensemble bien et qui nous a convenu
