"Very much a vintage hotel experience. I had an excellent mountain view, which I was able to enjoy from bed every morning. The cleaning crew were efficient and very good. The staff was very helpful with planning alternative hikes. I chose to walk the 800m from the train station, which for me was very doable. "Petra made sure we had everything we needed. Room included wine, beer, snacks, fresh fruit and lovely breakfast each morning rolled in. View is amazing. We had private sauna and whirlpool bath. Much needed after all our hiking. If you can handle the steep, windy, narrow roads leading up to the village it’s all worth it!!"
"This by far was my favorite placed we stayed in Switzerland. Kandersteg is a gorgeous town and the hotel was so cute. We had the best view from our room. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I cannot say enough positive things about this location. Absolutely loved it!"

"Linda and Dani were the most amazing hosts! It was the best experience I had in Switzerland. Very authentic and they went above and beyond taking care of me. I was a solo traveler and it felt like home! I highly recommend this hotel. So many memories and Dani always had a new surprise for me waiting! Easy walk to bus station to go to Interlaken Main. The dogs and kitty were an added bonus!!!!"
