"A lovely setting, it just looked tired in certain areas. It was unfortunate that we had a non-refundable rate and the hotel closed the golf course (the main reason for staying) because of the heat. The hotel would not agree to change the date, so the trip became a bit of a non event"

"Beautiful old hotel. Lovely breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Stayed during the heatwave last week so bedrooms were incredibly hot but fans and bottles of iced water provided.
