"We stayed with two kids and it was great. Nice friendly staff and animals. We didn’t try the hot tub or sauna but they looked great and we saw others trying them out. Breakfast was good (especially the cakes!). Very close to Krokur (small town) and lots of activities nearby (horse riding, hot spa, turf houses)"
"The Kolkuós Guesthouse is a hidden gem! We really enjoyed the the quiet, secluded location right on the shore. The house is beautifully remodeled and furnished and very clean. Breakfast was amazing and served in the quaint dining room. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful.
The Kolkuós Guesthouse was by far our favorite place to stay on our trip to Iceland!"
"This room had a coffee machine and was beautifully placed on a mountain side with great views. Loved the little porch, and were able to sit out and enjoy our coffee there in the morning. Staff was kind, area felt spacious and easy to get to. Would definitely recommend."
