What a gem! Beautiful property, amazing hosts. Best breakfasts of our whole trip. Kristin and Tobias were so helpful and accommodating. They grow all sorts of fruit. Room was very comfortable, quiet, modern. Truly a boutique property

Fantastic hotel-clean, comfortable, modern rooms in a quiet rural setting. Short 10 minute drive to town. The breakfast was incredible-farm fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough positive things about Quinta da Luz…except that our stay was too short.

Fantastic place in the Algarve to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The B&B is located in a quiet place. Tobias and Kristin are super hosts and do everything to please the guests. An extensive breakfast and the weekly BBQ are very popular. Rooms are modernly furnished and are cleaned daily. The honesty bar is equiped with cold drinks for a very reasonable fee. Definitely a place to visit.

Most fabulous stay

We had a four night stay here in April 2024. Our stay was perfect! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are fabulous too, lovely white bedding (I hate anything other than that), toiletries in the bathroom, a coffee maker, filtered water refilled daily and more. The room furnishings were lovely too. Kristin, Tobias and their gorgeous dog Tibo were amazing. They served a delicious healthy breakfast daily with some fabulous homemade jams, granola and bread, all made by Kristin. They offered a choice of cooked eggs, omelettes, fried or scrambled as well as croissants, cold meats, cheeses etc etc. Their orange juice was fresh from their own orange trees and delicious. Tobias was always around to spot an empty coffee cup and to refill it, great service. The patio to each room has table and chairs with cushions available in the room. To one side of the property is a delightful swimming pool. The owners played quiet, relaxing music near the pool and offered refreshments from a large fridge with a price list and an honesty box payment. This was a really lovely touch. We didn’t get a lot of time for drinks but would certainly use on a return visit. We thought it was a great idea. The owners had a lovely cleaning lady working for them. She was very friendly and she left our room spotlessly clean each day. We honestly could not fault this place. Kristin and Tobias have made everything just perfect. Such a brilliant stay thanks to them.

Quinta da Luz is beautiful! The location is perfect, with a short drive to Silves and not too far from the coast. The owners are so helpful and accommodating. We loved the breakfast every day! Rooms have everything you need, are very clean and comfortable.

Such an exceptionally lovely stay at Quinta da Luz. Everything was up to our standard and more. This is a true gem in the South of Portugal. We had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Luz. Kristin and Tobias are great people. Rooms are quite comfortable and we were able to get a good night sleep. The pool is super clean and fresh. Lots of places to relax around the pool. Breakfast is made from local produce (the eggs, jam, cheese, bread, juice, etc.). You definitely need a car if you're considering to stay here. The location is very central to get to western and central Algarve. Kristin has a very well-prepared guide that is super helpful in planning your days.

Ein sehr schöner Ort, tolle Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse, super leckeres Frühstück, Salzwasserpool und ganz wichtig: mega liebenswerte Gastgeber! Wir waren für 3 Nächte dort und wären sehr gerne noch viel länger geblieben. Fantastisch verblijf nabij Silves. Zeer gastvrije eigenaren, prachtige kamers, heerlijk zwembad en een geweldig verzorgd ontbijt. De ideale plek om tot rust te komen en de omgeving te verkennen. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk.
