"The hotel is in a great location — just minutes from the Santa Anita Mall and Old Town Monrovia, and within the same complex as the USC Medical Center. Parking, however, is very limited. "The pictures are deceptive. It is evident that attention to detail is not prioritized at this location. The shower was full of limescale. Patch work and/or paint jobs on the walls, ceiling, and the bathroom door were unfinished. The elevator was dirty. There is no "garden" as advertised. I did not feel very safe at this hotel."

"Property is average. Water is dripping in the bathroom. They don’t change towels and make beds unless requested. There was electrical burn smell in the lobby and nobody cared. Couple of hours later the alarm was activated. There seemed to be something burning in the kitchen and the sprinklers were activated. Firemen came and we were outside in.the cold about an hour. Overall not a great experience "

"Very nice corner room. Plugs to charge phone were not convenient. Felt safe, but when checking out other clientele seemed to be homeless people. Maybe with vouchers. Slept well though and left early. "
