The property is gorgeous and very nice to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are spacious and all well equipped. The staff was always friendly and asking if there was anything they could do. Special thanks to Daniel the resort manager who went above and beyond to make us comfortable....he's a great guy and did a super job!!!

Amazing service and staff
Had an amazing few nights with friends in Model Angkor Resort. Staff were incredibly friendly, taking the time to get to know us and our names. A huge shout out to front office, Samny who even took us back to the airport in person. Good variety in buffet and fresh noodles for breakfast. Pools were spacious and quiet and the tuktuk service arenfed by the hotel was excellent. Highly recommend and definitely will return

The best of our asia tour!!
Hands down the best place we stayed on our asia tour. The food was phenomenal, the staff went out of their way to learn our names. Cleanliness was wonderful. They had a salt water and regular pool, sauna, massage services and more. You didnt have to leave the resort but to see angkor wat! We loved the secluded atmosphere and it would b perfect for get togethers. We had no idea how big it was until we wandered around. Plus u cant beat the price.

15 min drive from city centre. Food is good, better than most restaurants outside. Airconditioner was leaking, but was fixed while we were in the room, inconveniencing us. Staff are very friendly.

Perfect hotel in almost every way, staff were best I've ever met and so helpful. Slightly outside the centre but to be honest it's a good thing as you get a quieter night's sleep.

Quiet and comforting stay! Extremely pleasent staff whom never fail to greet you by your name and ask how's your day. They even remember details like your flight time and which day you're checking out - really nice of them. My favourite staff was Joy, he's always so pleasent with a huge geniune smile.

I found the staffs very warm, friendly and helpful. However, I didnt like the rooms in the old wing as it was dim...The new wing however, was really clean, bright and has that sense of warmth.(unlike the older wing)

Don’t trust them with your money
Dishonest staff took advantage of our generosity. For our orders at the pool we always paid in cash giving a gracious tip, meanwhile the waiter asked to sign the bill as well. We thought it was a hotel policy. Checking out we were asked to handle our open bills and got presented with all the already paid things. Arguing with it didn’t help because we almost missed our flight and for 3 days the staff took our money and immediately put it into their pocket. The manager handled it inappropriately and made us pay for our purchases again. As I was disputing the claim the receptionist was pushing my friend to leave a review on various websites. We felt mistreated. What an unfortunate experience that spoiled our memory of Cambodia. I still can’t believe it happened to us!

Hotel requires maintenance. Staff very friendly
The staff were lovely. Hotel is shabby, walls and floors have stains on them, flaky paint, holes in wooden floor, no water on two occasions, air condition did not work and the TV did not work. Staff did there best but are working in an environment that needs attention. This hotel is not 5 star and I would have rated my experience as 1 if it was not for the staff, who are a credit to the hotel. The hotel did provide a free massage for us not having TV that we booked and paid for.

This is a pretty nice hotel, very pretty with large rooms. The pool was nice and they offer tuk tuk tours of Angkor Wat which is nice. The restaurant was very bland and expensive but hotel food is always expensive I guess. The WiFi wasn’t the best, worked only have the time. Otherwise decent hotel.

The hotel if you check in after dark comes across as dower and depressing, in the light of day the hotel is nice. So the actual hotel in the end was good, however at 6 am every morning of our stay the Christmas music coming from the restaurant waking me up every morning is detrimental to a good stay. The breakfast having said that was lovely for both Westerners and Asians alike. A few tweaks and this would be a top notch place to stay

A nice clean hotel. Very friendly staff. In a good quite location yet only a few minutes from the bustling pub steet and old market area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent staff, very welcoming and extremely helpful. Lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful salt water pool and the room was great. Arrangements for excursions were flawless and tuk tuk driver was superb.

Honeymoon in a beautiful Oasis.
This resort has everything you need! The room was amazing and huge and have huge tubs for 2 people. TV can be turned on its arm so u can watch TV/play Nintendo Switch in the Bathtub ;) . Beds are super comfortable and there is a pillow menu as well ( didn´t need it because the standard pillows where so nice. The breakfast buffet is incredible and have everything u need including bacon, fresh fruit ( so good ! ) and Khmer style cooked to order Ramen noodles that are so good u pass out! Unlimited Iced Coffe for breakfast was something I really loved ! All guests gets 20% off on food and drinks during the stay which was very welcome, and Happy hours is between 4pm-8pm and thats 50% off :D The new pool they just built with Saltwater ( not enough salty for me but they would add more they said) was unbelievable ! Cocktails , drinks and food are all very resonable priced. Don´t even get me started on the Staff because they are the BEST! We miss you Mister Sara and I hope We will meet you and your crew soon again ! <3

Five Star staff in 4 star surroundings
We had a wonderful 4 days in Model Angkor. I would only grade the hotel as 4 star due to minor design issues such as room lighting and lack of an aircon bar/lounge area. In all other respects it is 5 star. The staff are simply the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever come across. It’s probably unfair to mention names as they were all superb, but I have to say a special thanks to Nakiim who took us by tuk-tuk to the temples. After long days out, we ate in the hotel every night rather than getting tuk-tuk to city centre. 4 stars for choice but 5 for quality and value. Overall, it’s not in the prettiest of areas, but rather the real Cambodia . However I wouldn’t hesitate to return , and would recommend to anyone looking to avoid the anonymity of the massive hotels beginning to appear in Siem Reap. Ps. Check out the woodwork in the indoor reception- beautiful.

Beautiful Hotel, Incredible Woodwork!!
The design of Model Angkor Hotel is an attraction in itself. Taking over ten years to build , this classic hotel is not to be missed. The architecture and design is a reflection of the attention and care delivered by the staff!!

What a great hotel! My boyfriend and I initially booked a 2 night stay but ended up booking an extra night. All staff were extremely friendly from the moment we checked in to checking out. Staff even remembered our names from when we introduced ourselves at check in right through our stay making it feel personal and welcoming. Food in restaurant including buffet breakfast were lovely and not too expensive. The pool was great with lovely surroundings and free towels was good. Room was fantastic, very comfortable bed, bathtub in room and the shower were both great with warm water, mini fridge was also good. Staff were extremely helpful when we were planning onward travel and even gave us a complimentary traditional Cambodian scarf on departure which was a nice touch. Hotel is also only a few minutes in tuk tuk provided by hotel to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice boutique hotel
But not a five star experience. It's a bit tatty in the details.The staff are super helpful and the location is a little off the beaten track.

Nice hotel
The hotel is nice , really relaxing environment. The hotel employees are very kind. The room we stayed in was spacious, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety. Cleaning needs improvements!

The best staff ever!!
My partner and I have traveled a lot. This hotel staff truly made the experience incredible! The tours where great, the staff (who seemed to know our names by the end of the first day) went above and beyond on every aspect of the trip. There was a glitch with a cooking class they tried to arrange for us in town and when it fell through they set up a cooking class for us at the hotel which was by far the best cooking class I’ve ever attended the trip to the market was unreal! I would highly recommend this hotel for a number of reasons, but the people working there are magnificent and they make the trip very memorable !

Great family friendly place to stay
We were 2 families, 4 kids age 3-9. The rooms were large and beautiful, the pool was great, but the thing that stood out was the friendliness of the staff. I would love to stay here again

A true gem
We absolutely loved our stay at Model Angkor Resort. It was our favorite place of our 2+ week vacation across Cambodia and Vietnam. The staff was outstanding, and the place is beautiful. Highly recommend it.

A little slice of heaven
This resort has to be one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. The staff were wonderful and so attentive. So eager to make our stay enjoyable from the moment we stepped through the door to the day we left. Mr Py our tuk tuk driver was a amazing and always there to take us to wherever we wanted to go and so full of information about the city that he loved. I would highly recommend the Model Angkor Resort as a place to stay while in Siem Reap.

Needed 2 key cards, went to pool, husband sya yes to rest. Could not use elevator to get down to room.
