"This location has a lot of potential. Outside it’s beautiful inside and on the premises there’s just no amenities other than the pool. A lot of things were under renovation. Our condo was really out of date all the way around cabinets were falling apart at the hinges weird handles, and cheap fixtures. The gym on the premises is OK barely able to be called a gym. Every TV in our condo three and All were not smart. TV is not able to stream anything if you log into your own account. The outside porch area and furniture was very very dirty and needs to be power washed. Staff is friendly and responsive. If you need extras of whatever you need. Overall maintenance of the place definitely needs to step up their game. For the money, not the best location in Williamsburg as far as amenities."

"We truly enjoyed our stay! This was our first visit, and we were celebrating our little boy’s 6th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip feel special, the food was wonderful, and everything was incredibly easy and accessible. We made such great memories here and definitely plan to come back!"

"Don’t book here with Expedia until you read the fine print. Wingate does not comply by Expedia rules and policies. I booked a room, Expedia says free cancellation up to 24 he before stay. I attempt to make changes, Expedia says there’s been a mistake try again. I try in the app twice same issue. I try online, I get a green check. I go about my business. I get an email on the day I supposedly changed asking me how my check in process went 🙄 All in all - my change wasnt processed and no one took responsibility or attempted to help reciting the issue. So regretfully, I paid for a night I didn’t use AND THEN paid for an extra night because my park tickets were for two days. Needless to say I’m never staying here again (dirty washcloths, missed spots from cleaning, room was barely refreshed) And Expedia can kick rocks. 0/10 do not recommend "

"Indoor pool was closed. Handmade sign on the front desk said the INDOOR POOL was "seasonal". It is not listed that way anywhere online. When mentioning our disappointment to the staff, they were very dismissive and rude. We cancelled our second night and got a refund."
