"It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. "Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended."

"The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Service is very good. The double room was very clean and tidy. Also quite, though you do, as someone else has mentioned previously, hear the church bells. Have to say it was not a problem for me. The room was very comfortable, a lovely view along Church Lane and across the stone cottages. It has the usual room facilities. The bathroom facilities were very good, especially the shower, as it was one of the few that I have used in hotels that did not leak...
