Breakfast was cooked each morning by a personal chef and was outstanding! Room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

The property was extremely clean. We were welcomed on our arrival and shown the property. Restaurants were nearby. Breakfast the next morning was amazing.

It is my opinion that after check in time someone should be on the premises until all are in. Also the B&B should ask about any dietary needs. Also be sure the Bathroom is supplied with Soap, and toilet paper. We had to buy soap as there was no one to provide it. People working were pleasant.

EXCELLENT!!!
We had an amazing stay at Morgan & Wells B&B! From the time we pulled into the parking lot, till we turned in our room key, we were treated wonderfully!! Extremely clean, excellent room, and very comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious and served very nicely! Loved our stay!! Lynn Bridges

This is a beautiful house built 1910 and they did a great job rehab the house, staff is very friendly, breakfast was excellent and very close to downtown.

Nice clean place with a southern charm. For a b&b the breakfast is key. Not a selection. You get what is served at their time frame. What we where serviced was not acceptable and waste our time waiting for it. Noicey ac unit all night off an on

I highly recommend Morgan and Wells B&B! Our room was amazing as was the staff and owner. They went out of their way to accommodate us. I look forward to going back there again. You won't want to stay anywhere else in Shelby once you've stayed here.

Over Booked.
Booked us at a B&B that had no rooms available. Had to scramble to find a place to stay in a small town where the local college was having graduation. Not a good way to start our vacation.

Cute spot in a great town No place in the room to set anything no place in the bath room to set your gear or the wife for her makeup, had to use toilet, no cups or even plastic glasses for rinsing your teeth, would not stay there again. Great breakfast and Great Hostess, But a B&B is about the Room!

Heavenly getaway
Staying here with my husband was what our marriage needed. It was calming, comfortable and beautiful. The staff was beyond excellent. They spared no expense in making us feel welcome and at home. They paid attention to every detail. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing!

Great hospitality. Perfect location close to the Don Gibson Theatre and the downtown night life which surprising exits in Shelby NC. Comfortable beds, quiet room. Whatever you do, leave room for breakfast. It was fantastic-- peach pancakes and much more..

We were greeted upon our arrival by our host and shown to our room and given interesting information about the unique house , restaurant tips, happenings in the area and much more. Fresh fruit and delicious family style breakfasts the three mornings we were there were enhanced by sharing stories and experiences with the other diverse, friendly guests. The hosts were wonderful. We recommend the Morgan and Wells B&B very highly.

Outstanding !! Melanie & Derek were excellent hosts! Made sure all the guests were well cared for and comfortable! B & B was clean and our room was large. The bed was sooo very comfortable!! Breakfast was delicious and plenty. We will definitely make plans to return to Shelby. We saw a show @ the Don Gibson Theater and had dinner in town, and the B & B was close enough to walk. Thanks again Melanie & Derek !!

I stayed this night at this B&B for a job interview and have found it to be one of the most pleasant experiences I've had. The owner was very gracious and helped provide a lot of information on the area, as well as information on the company I was interviewing at. The room was comfortable and was a great place to do some last minute interview preparations and ensure that I was able to rest enough to do my best for the following day. The breakfast was prepared to the requests of myself and the other guests and made fresh that morning from a very talented chef. If I find myself needing to stay in the area again, this would absolutely be my first choice.

Adorable bed and breakfast in Shelby, NC
My fiancé and I were traveling north during his move from Montgomery, AL to Hampton, VA. We stopped in Shelby, NC to attend our friends graduate school graduation at Gardner-Webb. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this establishment :)
