"The hotel is centrally located so perfect to discover Canterbury by foot. The staff are nice and the barman made us a mean Negroni. We highly recommend staying there if you want to visit Canterbury, and make the most if its restaurants and pubs in the evening."

"Room seemed liked it was recently refurbished, so was in good condition, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Not all areas of the hotel were in such a good condition. Our dinner in the Bar and Grill was not a good experience, with no vegan options, poor quality food, mistakes with our order, and such a long wait for our food that we were offered a free round of drinks from the bar, I wouldn't eat there again if I lived locally! There wasn't enough floor staff on duty for a very busy Saturday evening. The breakfast was fine though. Overall an ok stay, but Village Hotels would not be on my list of hotels to visit again"

"We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers."
