"The breakfast is amazing ! Delicious full English breakfast with croissant and juice. We enjoyed it very much. It was quiet as there are only 5 accommodation rooms above the restaurant. "

"Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good
Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly.
Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants.
Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems.
All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again."

"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"We had a lovely stay at The Boathouse. We had a Seaview room and it was spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast here and both was fantastic. We will definitely be back!"

"Overall a great hotel. The breakfasts are amazing, abundance of fresh fruit, cooked to order hot breakfast. It was hot while we were there, so having the pool was needed.
It is very dog friendly as they say with a kitchen to prepare food and store. Your dog can come to breakfast as well. There are gardens just outside of the hotel, perfect for the early morning and late evening walk.
The only downside was the heat. It was very hot and there is no air con. We were on the 2nd floor room 27, it was very hot. We brought our own fan with us so ended up using two fans, with one on the dog.
I did feed back on the last day about this, it didn’t ruin our trip but I think it’s something they need to look at if we continue to have warmer weather.
The island itself is dog friendly as well"
"The Fig Tree Hotel was set near to popular coastal amenities and the old Shanklin village with its thanked cottage charm. A conveniently central position for beach and countryside, betwixt Carisbrooke Castle and Osbourne House. My room and facilities were of a good standard and breakfast, which was hearty, set the day off well.
Thank you Staff at Fig Tree. PW"
"We had a balcony room overlooking the esplanade and beach. It was spacious, a comfortable bed, plenty of drawers and hanging space and a very large shower room with walk-in shower with slip-mat, pedestal basin and WC. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided with kettle and a hairdryer. The towels were white and fresh as was the bed linen. The pub itself was decorated in a nautical theme. The menu was eclectic and the portions very generous. You can dine inside or out on the terrace which was well shaded. The staff are very hard-working and nothing is a problem for them. We would certainly return. Breakfast was varied with plenty of freshly made tea and filter coffee, juices, the full English or various options. Vegetarians are well catered for too."
"A very well run hotel with most aspect being excellent. Clean, comfortable room, decent crockery and consistent food quality.
Very few negatives but the stairs carpet could have seen service in Pompeii, it was that old and seemingly dirty.
A lift would be nice in a 5 story hotel but may be difficult given the age and design of the building.
Overall, a lovely stay"
"Very spacious, we had 2 armchairs in our room but there was a lounge and conservatory to use. The breakfast menu had a big choice. The garden was good to sit in with plenty of seating and you could help yourself to beverages and biscuits in the lounge.
David and Rosemary are so nice and also Josie who helps them.
Highly recommended."
