Really cool little hotel, just inside the Dukezong ancient city part of Shangri-la (Deqen). Great base for local highlights like Sumtsaling Monastery and Potatso National Park. Seems almost brand new, very comfortable, and all the models cons. Staff were fantastic, extremely helpful with organizing trips, and very welcoming. Provided a great home cooked breakfast, and even made me some local soup at 10pm after a long day touring. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Great spa with excellent messages. Friendly and most helpful staff. Distance to the rooms could be on the long side, it is a big resort. Highly recommended.

Great location, easy walk to ancient town.

I had an excellent stay overnight en route to my final destination. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was wonderfully comfortable. The lady at reception was really helpful to point me to the train station instead of a taxi for my final destination- much more comfortable ride and much less expensive. She also arranged a taxi for me to the station.

Our experience at Banyan Tree Ringha was exceptional from start to finish. We were welcomed with warming ginger tea and an efficient check-in. Our room was huge, with authentic interior design that reflected the local region. We stayed in a spa room, so had a separate area for treatments, along with the most stylish bath tub I've ever seen - just what tired legs needed after a day of hiking! I highly recommend this place. It is super comfortable and close to the old town, and the staff are extremely helpful and reliable. We liked the old China feel to the place.

Very good location (slightly outsidethe old town which is very convenient), very helpful stuff (helped us organizea trip and also help with everythingwe needed), the finishing in the rooms can be better although not much of a big deal for the use of the room.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They have plenty of recommendations for places to eat and visit.
