"We stayed in the family studio at The Crown Inn for a wedding at Lapstone Barn which was just 10 minutes away. The room was perfect for us, with a double and 2 single beds. The room has its own entrance away from the main building and we found it quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and service from all members of staff friendly and welcoming."

"Our stay at Lords of the Manor was truly exceptional. The hotel itself is very pretty, and although it rained almost constantly, the grounds were clearly beautiful. The weather did nothing to detract from the warm and gracious welcome we received. Every member of staff was unfailingly polite, attentive, and helpful, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. From start to finish, everything about our stay was a genuinely lovely experience."

"Propert has lots of character - room was clean and well appointed. Wifi enabled shower was an intriguing and quite baffling surprise. Dinner and breakfast at the Sheep were excellent - although neither was included in the hotel rate. Very pleased with the stay here."

"Our room exceeded our expectations. It was in excellent condition, as though it had been recently renovated. Staff were lovely and made our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast included and Tuesday Indian banquet on site made a delicious evening meal. "
