Our room was cold, we requested to have the heater checked, NO RESPONSE! We then requested a portable heater, NO RESPONSE! On our third day there, some of our food items were missing from the common kitchen refrigerator.

The bottom landing of the stairs down from the bedrooms was very dark so it was hard to see where the steps ended and the landing started. My wife fell and her her back badly because she thought she was stepping on the landing but there was still one more step to go. She couldn’t see the last step. Later I also almost fell. Not happy with the place.

Staff was not very present on the property. The bathroom in our room had no toilet plunger and there was not one in the whole house, apparently.

This was a quite older Lodge located a few miles from downtown. It was very clean and comfortable. It has a shared kitchen and sitting area. Each of our rooms had their own bathroom. Karrie was very friendly and even made blueberry muffins for all the guest. We would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t know that we could use the kitchen. It was a big and clean shared kitchen. The use of the kitchen should be disclosed. So that guests can get ready for.

Bare-bones
This is a bare-bones accommodation in a nice large house. There’s no staff on site. The room was clean but not really nice or comfortable. The price was low.

We saw a moose and her calf almost immediately after parking, which was awesome. The space was clean and quiet plus checkout and check in was super easy

Clean Cozy place. Private room in a large cabin. Nice clean room. Communal kitchen/fridge. Great location to fishing, food, and glacier hikes

This place had no one to check us in. The door was unlocked and it felt unsafe. No one was managing the property so the fridge and kitchen was a mess. This is a cute place that could improve with a little management

There was no one to check us in. Our name was on front door and key was in room door which was off kitchen. We were told by note to remove our shoes at front door. Family was in full functioning kitchen cooking. I was awakened at 2 30 am by someone in kitchen making loud noises and coughing. Sounded like the person was in our room. They were in kitchen until we got up at 5 am. There was no soap for shower. For the price it was disappointing. I doubt if we will return to the area but if we did i would not stay here.

Great place to stay.
If you are looking for a clean no frills place to stay, this is it. Check in was easy. It was great having a kitchen. My only complaint would be that there needs to be blackout curtains due to the extremely long days.

Our room (no. 3) was by the kitchen, it was really noisy even at midnight. Had a hard time sleeping with the noise and uncomfortable beds. Also, the room lacked blackout curtains and proper heating.

Had family issues and needed to fly home. Checked in but left within an hr of arriving. Facility looked ok, definitely not fancy but clean. Did not like that there was no one available to check in. Everything was done by phone or text, no human was available at the property to handle any problems.

For the price we really couldn’t complain too much, but the place could use a little sprucing up and some new pillows and a few more basics in the kitchen. The location is really nice. The guesthouse style of lodging can be annoying with people coming and going loudly at all hours of the night, but the property owner can’t do much to change that. Overall I would say we got what we paid for.

You are renting a bedroom with it’s own bathroom. Everything else is shared living area including the living room and kitchen. As long as you know what to expect, this is a very affordable quiet place just outside of town.

The place is very nice inside and very clean! It’s a community kitchen but it’s extremely clean and enjoyable talking to the other guests. Would definitely recommend Twin Peaks for lodging in Seward!
