Brilliant, helpful staff. From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed after a 14 mile walk around the peaks. It was just the break we needed in a quiet pub. The food was also amazing!
Great stay with parking
Nice pub/restaurant with friendly staff.
Good breakfast but only starts at 8pm
Comfortable rooms but a lot of noise through walls
Stayed in family room which was great , bathroom definitely needs a refurb but was functional. We were checked in by a lovely lady with long blonde hair( sorry didn’t catch her name ) who had excellent social skills and was very good and very efficient at her job unfortunately other members of staff weren’t so friendly and didn’t seem to be enjoying their work which reflected in their body language and less than friendly attitude. Breakfast was good and hotel has a lovely outside area to eat and drink
Great location on quiet road. Parking easy and safe. 10 mins walk into Settle. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Free fresh milk, orange, apple juice, water. Staff superb, efficient and helpful.
Had a good stay here together with a nice meal. Having an appointent in the area and limited transport, I was able to return for a short while after check-out time to freshen-up.
This was my first stay here, it was absolutely a pleasure, attention to detail was first class, the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.
I travelled by train. Note that the hotel is nearer to Settle station than Giggleswick station. There is a decent size car park at the back and a few spaces in front, although I obviously didn't use them. Buses stop outside but I'm not sure how frequent.
Breakfast is included in the price. I particularly enjoyed the full English; the smoked salmon and poached eggs were also very good.
Dinner is available in the restaurant; a bit dearer than what I'd normally pay, but worth it for the quality.
The single room was small but adequate with a bed and a dressing table/ desk. As well as a kettle in the room, they provide complimentary bottled water and fruit juice. Also fresh milk.
I received a really warm welcome. The hotel even changed my room so I could have a bath. The pub downstairs has a nice atmosphere. As you have to expect from an old building above a pub, you do get a little noise from the other rooms. Overall, excellent value for money and would stay again.
Throughout the hotel, from the staff, layout, friendliness, food, facilities all exceeded expectations. A return for us in the near future.

Mixed review. The food was lovely evening meal and breakfast. Ideally placed for Malham
Cove.
The time for breakfast was 8am-9am which is very early for a weekend especially a Sunday.
I dont think the room was worth £130. There was damp under the window and the window frame was a mess.
The bar music is audible from the rooms
We were exhausted from walking so slept through it. The staff were friendly but the state of the room would mean we wouldn’t stay again unfortunately.
