The room is dirty, and toilet doesn't work. the owner is not honest. we booked 3 rooms with breakfast, and he put us in a large room with other people which can hold 12 people in a room and no breakfast. he said his wife is sick and no breakfast anymore.

As it is understood from the reservation number, it is obvious where you made a reservation, you make bad comments as if we are deceiving you, you make a reservation for a shared room, you act as if you made a reservation for a private room or you make us pay for your mistake.

Mixed review of many issues but cute space.
Cute place but some issues. Smoke from others came in the room making me cough all night that they were there. Noisy as they came and went non stop. No sound proofing. Fridge doesnt work at all. But the room is cute and air con works, tho blowing right on the bed on my neck. People are nice but took out my own garbage and had to ask for daily water. And breakfast is very small. Wifi does not work in room at all. Yet the courtyard is beautiful. So.... Mixed.

Great value for the price > quiet with a resedential feel. the hotel stay was comfortable and the basic amenities provided were good. The pandemic has slowed the rush of tourists and its impact can be felt in this town as well.

A good place close to the attractions
I was impressed with this little hostel mainly for Candy the owner and their decor in the shared dorm. This is a huge and cozy room with wall heaters to keep it warm during those wintery travel months. I loved how it had two bathrooms in the dorm as well. Breakfast was good and healthy and included in the room price. Had great chats with Candy. She is very helpful, kind beautiful and knowledgeable about the culture and surrounding area with attractions.

It was a nice stay with my family. We were there only for the night as we were on a road trip. But excellent service from host. He is very kind and caring and can speak English very well. Room was clean and we felt at ease.

Nice place with helpful staff and great location
There are some positive and negative things about Boomerang. The positives: the staff and location. The couple that runs this place are delightful and very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the small town and walking to Ephesus. It is also 1 minute’s walk to the excellent Ephesus Museum and a nice outdoor cafe that serves great coffee, beer, wine, and food. On the negative side, the room did not have any place to put our luggage or clothes so we had to stack our clothes on the floor. The room was somewhat old and dated and not super clean. Although the room had it’s own small courtyard, the chairs were broken so we could not sit out there. Still, I would stay at the Boomerang again, because of the staff and location, if there was a room that had a place to put our clothes.

Wonderful hostel, felt like family
Wonderful hostel. Great location, less than a minute from the Ephesus museum. The hostel owner is the kindest person - made me tea when I came in, and gave great recommendations on what to do in town and around. Made me feel like her long lost son!

Friendly place to stay. We arrived pretty late in the middle of the rain but were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. Lots of advice about what to see and do and they even offered to wake up at 4am to drive us to the airport for less than the cost of a taxi! Fluent English and Cantonese spoken.

Wonderful Hotel & Location
My stay at Boomerang Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and attentive property owner. We were provided with welcome tea and helpful local attraction information as soon after we checked in our cozy beautiful clean room. They have a beautiful spacious garden restaurant and large menu selection (both turkish & Chinese foods). The owner's wife is a great chef. I miss the chinese foods she cooked. And if you like Nargile/shisha/hookah, they have it too. This hotel is like B&B style, efficiently run by the family. They securely stored our lugguages after we checked out our room and charged our devices. Location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the selcuk bus station. We took the mini bus at selcuk bus station to Ephesus & Sirence Village, very convenient and sufficient. I highly recommend boomerang guesthouse to anyone who plan to stay in selcuk for a day or two. Room rate are very reasonable and worth the price. I will definitely stay again on my next visit in selcuk.

My stay at Boomerang was great, Candy and her husband were amazing and would help in any way they could. I originally booked the hostel room which was okay, its a room with maybe 12 or 14 beds, I slept there for 2 nights and then I paid a bit extra to move upstairs to a room with only 2 beds and a/c, that room was amazing and it was well worth the extra money i paid. The guesthouse also has a restaurant which serves turkish/chinese food, it was good. The breakfast was good it consisted of a beverage tea or coffee, the meal had fruits and veggies and bread and an egg. The guesthouse is close to everything, a short walk to the castle and a short walk to other restaurants and the bus stop. I recommend this guesthouse if you are looking for a nice comfortable place.

Really great location , near a bus station just a short walk through a garden and cross the street, about 5 min .staff is really nice. I love the decoration in a restaurant area , so relax and cozy atmosphere. The room was clean, a bit smaller than expected but it doesn’t matter.

A perfectly positioned friendly family hotel.
What a gem of a place. It is a budget hotel and you do need to bear that in mind. It was clean but a little tired looking in places. Our room had an ensuite which not all rooms do. Others have private bathrooms though for only your use. An unexpected bonus was a small terrace area off our room. It was totally walled in so no view but it does mean that smokers could go outside to indulge. We know from experience that despite rooms being no smoking rooms, the rule is frequently broken. As non smokers we would be aware of this from the outset. No worried here though. It is only the second time I have stayed in a hotel with no wardrobe though. The first was a cave; honestly, a room carved from the rock face, but this hotel also had no wardrobe. We were only there 2 nights so this was not a problem at all. Clean towels were supplied every day. The towels again have seen better days but they did the job!! We did discover though that in order to get warm water from the shower to not turn it on full and let it run for a few minutes prior to showering. The you get ample very hot water! Breakfast was Turkish breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee. Service was second to none. I had put my tablets on the table to take with me tea. On noticing this a glass of water was supplied without being asked for. Yes, they are that attentive without being in the least bit intrusive.Despite planning to eat out on our 2 evenings there we decided to eat at the hotel and was not disappointed

Nice hotel with clean room but no tv... The breakfast was great and the supper was also great and not expensive. You can easily walk to the ruins but dont forget to bring some water. The market is not far. A lot of fresh fruits and food to buy.

The owners are very nice and helpful, and the food is incredible. We arrived pretty late on our first night, and the owner's wife came back specially to make us dinner as we hadn't eaten. She is a great cook and makes some delicious Chinese food. They also gave good advice on things to do and places to see in the area. We highly recommend staying here, or at least coming for dinner.

It's a nice little place right in the old town of Selçuk (the Byzantine Ephesus after the settlement has been relocated from the original Greek settlement). It is a tranquil location, tables outide, small pittoresque streets around. Car parking right in front of the guesthouse on the opposite side of the street. There is practically no car traffic in the old town on the hill although car access is possible everywhere. My room had a balcony to a backyard with trees, on which I used to sit evenings. Also AC in the room which I didn't have to use, as I kept the balcony door and window closed during the day and open during the night (while I was out durig the days). Regular checkin was between 10 and 12 or at other times by phone appointment, even late in the evening. I found my stay very pleasant and would probably go there again.

Reseptionda kimse bulunmuyor. Kadın, ihtiyaç olduğunda; yan taraftaki kafe’de bulacağımı söyledi. Sıcak su olmadığından, soğuk suyla banyo yaptığım yetmiyor gibi; havlu da yoktu. Otelin yanındaki kafe’de, kadına söylediğimde; havlu istemediniz, dedi. Ertesi sabah, kahvaltı yok; onun için ödeme yapmadınız, dedi. Sonradan, büyük bir şans eseri ödediğim paranın içinde kahvaltı da olduğunu gördüm. O parayı ödemediğimi söyledi. İnternet üzerinden ödediğim miktarı bulup; gösterince, lütfen bir kahvaltı verdi. Ertesi sabah erkenden ayrılacağım için, 7:30 da kahvaltıya gittim. Fakat, otel dışındaki yer kilitliydi. Otelin Kapısı da, otomatik olarak kapandığından; yarım saat soğukta bekledim. Saat 08:00 hâlâ kimseyi göremeyince, 08:15 gibi telefon açtım. Evindeydi, ve “Bağırarak, daha saat yeni sekiz oldu.” De ddi... Otelcilikten hiç mi hiç anlamayan bu otel sahibi için, ne diyebilirim ki?
