"We loved our stay in Waternish. The location was so good for our itinerary. We would head off in the morning to explore and loved returning to our cozy home where we could relax and watch the weather change outside our window. The view is so pretty. Or we could enjoy the Stein Inn, the Skyeskin tannery or a drive out to the Truman ruins. The house itself was great. Comfy master bed and everything we needed in the kitchen. The dryer was key as we got soaked on day."

"Pretty location but unfortunately raining so not able to maximize the outdoor amenities. Food was mediocre but definitely a place where you want to eat because of the remote location and driving the long road in the dark would be challenging"

"Beautiful country manor and grounds but once you turn off the main road, it’s a rough single-track road for quite a bit. Not something I would like to traverse at night driving back and forth into Portree for dinner. But, the good news is there is no need to because the food, both dinner and breakfast, are sublime. Our room on the attic level required a climb up two flights and was a bit small and Spartan but comfortable nevertheless."

"Exceptional views and very comfortable accommodation! Only suggestion for the owner would be to fasten the dishwasher unit to the cabinets as it tipped forward every time it was opened. We loved this location- so peaceful and wonderful to be so close to all the sheep and cows!"

"The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The property is very comfortable and of a very high standard and the location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay with only one slight negative being the directions info (provided by hotels.com) was not accurate. I think we were missing some of the email message text. However, a call to the owner quickly resolved that and we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend."
