"I don't have a bad word to say! About 20mins drive from the airport costing about 40euros in a taxi. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent high quality food choices for reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and polite. Facilities were excellent. Plenty of sunbed arounds the pool with an adults only section on the 11th floor with amazing panoramic views. We were abit hesitant about the access to the

"The hotel is located within easy walking distance of cable cars, lots of great restaurants and access to the ocean. The property has lots of character, a great free breakfast and two pools with friendly and helpful staff. there is free parking as well which is a huge benefit as street parking is very limited. "

"Nice hotel. Enjoyed our short break especially as the weather was perfect. Breakfast buffet whilst not the best was adequate. Lovely to have access to the ocean at the lower pool area but this area would benefit from a bit of TLC! Perfect position for a stroll into Funchal which has many restaurants/bars and an interesting ‘old’ district. Would we stay at this hotel again? Yes!"

"Lovely stay with a beautiful rooftop pool. I stayed here for the half marathon race and loved the cooler outside my room and refillable glass water bottle. Location is safe and walkable. To many restaurants and attractions in the city. Would certainly stay here again."
