worst crap hole ever. hard to believe this is even allowed. toilet is putrid, water smells, shower is disgusting, outside looks like a trash dump. guests a few doors down looked liked Aryan criminals, and watched me pack up in the morning. driveway is all potholes. manager was nice, though

It was the most disgusting room i ever walked into ,the bed wasn't made and the pillow still had the head imprint of the last person.the toilet still had poop in it not to mention it had a half a shower that was black and not a towel in sight.i walked out asked for my money backand left quickly

I read all of the poor reviews before I booked, but thought that maybe the previous guests were just really picky and expected too much, so I booked a room there. Well…the reviews were right…that is the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in, and the surroundings made me feel very unsafe (and I have a very high tolerance for rough places).

The room had a bad odor like a hidden black mold issue??and the bed was old and uncomfortable. The tv had only 5 channels. The lady that runs it is very nice tho and outside was a big nice area

The woman was friendly. It’s just not very coordinated. Also super cheap so wasn’t expecting a lot. The AC unit had air fresheners on it to cover the smell. The door only locks via deadbolt, the knob lock doesn’t work. The beds were clean. Idk, it was ok considering it’s only $130 for 2 nights.

Would not refund my deposit. Wanted me to text photos of my card and ID. I slept on top of the covers with all of my clothes on. It was frigid even with the heat turned all the way up. Will never stay at another OYO, let alone this location.

You get charged a $50 cleaning deposit at check-in and have to bring the deposit receipt in person at check-out. But it took over an hour to find someone when I checked out. I'm sure some guests just give up, leave, and lose the $50. I felt like a hostage.

Worst stay ever..

It was horrible.. the room was not clean it also looked nothing like photos . It was run down smelly and everything was falling apart. No one new the wifi information.. the m8nute i checked in i wanted to check out .. and wasnt able too because there was no refund given back .. the door didnt even close properly .. i will never again stay there nor will i suggest that place to anyone else .. there pictures where so fausly advertised..

Full disclosure, I was looking for the cheapest room possible in the area, so it’s 100% true that you get what you pay for. I’ve worked with and around dead bodies for years so I’m no stranger to foul smells, but this room smelled so strongly of stale cigarette smoke that it made me ill. There was food and beverage leftover in the room and inside the microwave from (I assume) the previous guest. The door barely closed and locked, the lighting was poor, and something about the pipes made the water smell and feel off. I would come out of the shower and smell like metal / iron. The A/C also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since Clinton was in office. The ground around the unit was in serious disrepair, with large potholes and uneven surfaces all throughout. There was also a pile of trash and debris on a tarp directly outside of my unit, including pieces of wood with nails in them. I had to be careful where I parked my car to avoid getting a flat tire. Also, it was very clear these units are frequented by people likely involved in shady business (that’s about as politely as I can put it). Harry was nice and helpful during check-in, but the woman present during checkout literally didn’t say a word to me. Guess she was too busy with her conversation on her cell phone to give me the time of day. Excluding my time in Afghanistan, this was probably the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. Shame on me for not thoroughly researching this place before booking it. Learn from my mistake.

There was garbage old furniture all around the property totally unsafe to walk around...as for the room I'd you call it that the bathroom didn't work no handle on shower so I couldn't shower not that I would get in there anyway... dirty sheets...ants everywhere...holes in the walls... windows covered with cardboard ...I slept in my car because there was no one at the office all night ...the worst experience of my life...looks like they had construction going on in other rooms .....almost a Court Case

Hotel from HELL

My room did not look like the picture you showed. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a zero, that bad. They charged me $12 over the listed price plus a $50 deposit. I arrived at 6 PM and the room was not ready. I was told 15 minutes, but it turned out to be an hour. They had to assembly the bed, and the TV remote did not work. It is on a noisy road, but I was awake most of the night checking outside to make sure my car was safe!

Worst experience ever

Filthiest rooms I've ever seen. Doorknobs were hollow, and doors were beat up. There were holes and wiring on the walls. The second room I was shown was in similar condition, with a window broken and no functioning heating (despite the owner trying to convince me that it was). The owner told me that he showed me two rooms and didn't like it, so he wouldn't waste any more time on me and to leave. I had to spend 3 hours on the phone to finally get my money back. Do not stay here unless you don't mind sleeping in smelly, disgusting rooms and being treated badly.

I’d like to start by saying something nice, the young woman who eventually came to the front desk to check me in was pleasant and kinda cute in her pajamas and fresh nails. The pit bull behind counter was really sweet…. he was probably warning me to stay away… the lot is overflowing with trash, the pictures on the sight are not anything like the current dilapidated premises… there was hot water, but no heat, the rush of the near by highway traffic was soothing as tried to stay warm under two overused blankets. The pillows would have been fine if they weren’t so thin.. the floor hadn’t been swept, the bathroom .. the shower was covered in mold and brown stains… the sink had a century of hard water stains.. a mouse hole in the anti room was filled with the extra wash cloth.. the microwave, I am b pretty sure whatever was growing in it barked at me when I opened the door… pass this property by… sleep in a dumpster it will be better I am certain of it

Don't stay at this hotel! Zapped my money, nofund

This Hotel is terrible. I booked through online. I paid with credit card for 2 days. When I went to hotel front desk, Asian Indian lady who was working in front desk told me that I had to pay $50 damage deposit which will be refunded to my credit card after check out, in 7 to 10 business days. I believed her and paid $50. I got in my room that smelled like abandoned property. This room had no refrigerator at all. I could not preserve my food or drink healthy. I left this hotel after 2 days of stay. I called this hotel contact number 570-328-4753 asked if everything is set for my refund. Asian Indian rep said everything is OK, I have to allow 7 to 10 business days for refund to my card. After 2 weeks I called hotel, customer service rep said they had no record of my stay, refund or room number that I stayed in for refund. So I contacted Hotel.com. in Hotel.com chat, I explained rep the situation. Rep contacted hotel and said that OYO Hotel told Hotel.com rep that OYO hotel had me in their record as no show, so there is no question about damage deposit refund, because OYO Hotel record showed as I never checked in. I said Hotel.com rep that I had credit card already posted $50. I sent Hotel.com rep through email picture of credit card transactions. Now Hotel.com rep told me this transaction was in Casino Countryside Inn name, that is not OYO Hotel name, but both are at same address at 1 Pittston Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Hotel.com could not help, asked me to contact OYO hotel/Cas
