"Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area. "
"My husband and I have never been to Bar Harbor. We went for four days where we stayed at this amazing hotel. The place was clean, nice well-maintained. The owners were so pleasant so friendly. Anything you asked for you had it? It was awesome. The only thing I would recommend is if you have an issue with stairs request the first floor there is no landing on the stairs as you go up to the second floor but overall could not ask for a better place. My husband and I have both said we will go back...
"The staff!! I hope the owners know what they have by having Christopher there! The cleaning staff stopped and said hi and asked if the room needed anything. Christopher was witty and right on with his recommendations of places to eat. The location was great, quiet but close to everything. Rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!!"
"The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. "

"Our room and the entire property was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of nice amenities. There were a few options for breakfast and all were delicious. The best part was sitting in the rockers on the expansive front porch! We had coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the evening. I would definitely come back to this hotel."
"Not fancy but clean and very conveniently located to Acadia National Park (short drive or take Island Hopper) and Bar Harbor Shops and Restaurants (walking distance) Susie at front desk very helpful! Every night after dinner we walked the path along the shore and back to the motel. Second time we have stayed here! Will be back! "

"Clean and conveniently located near the center of Bar Harbor. The manager, Tim, is fantastic. Very accommodating to any requests. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
