"This was my end stay while I was working in the area. Parking is great- right out front. The room clean with everything I need: fridge, microwave, coffee maker.. This time there was biscuits & gravy at breakfast besides other choices incl. Waffles to make. The pool is great and open at 8 a.m., which is special; as many travelers have an agenda. I enjoyed it very much and again- was the only one using it. The room and bed are comfortable with shampoo in refillable units to save packaging. A great value for the money!"

Very nice staff. 2nd floor hallway reeked of Marijuana both days I was there, person above me must of been auditioning for Stomp, and kept their dog in bathroom when they would leave, and dog barked loud for hours. Fire alarm went off late one night, they addressed the malfunction. Interesting place."

"Booked the hotel because we wanted a pool but unfortunately it was closed due to maintenance during the stay, which was a huge disappointment to our son. Breakfast and room were decent. Room was a little musty smelling and temperature was hard to regulate (got too hot and too cold over night). "

"The room was very dirty, jetted tub was not clean we had to clean ourselves. Holes in walls and curtains, headboard covered in dust, lamps were falling apart. Evening staff was polite and helpful. DO NOT stay here!"

"This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell throughout the building. It seemed to disappear by morning, but I can’t say that maybe I just became used to it. If you simply need basic overnight accommodations, this is fine. The bed was comfortable. But it’s definitely not a high-end hotel anymore. I have stayed this place years ago and I was happy with it, but that is no longer the case. Decent price, but you get what you pay for. And no, I would not recommend this place. It is definitely on its way out as they cannot keep up with the lack of clientele. It’s unfortunate because the outside of the building looks very presentable. If you just need basic accommodations, this is fine. But brace yourselves before you walk in. It just simply a basic hotel. "

"It is close to the expressway if you need to run an errand or two. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice!"
