Laundry service was great, all clothes were cleaned each day and staff was amazing, tour guides, housekeepers, and cooks. Staff was family and made you feel like family,
Absolutely wonderful resort. The staff, Chantel, Mary, Sala were amazing. The food excellent and the facilities gorgeous. One of the most serene and beautiful places you’ll ever stay.
Incredible views, attentive staff, amazing food, which is not the norm for an all inclusive, an excellent property! So quiet and still, great way to relax and decompress from the hussle and bussle of everyday life.
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place for you! The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Wonderful choice of excursions and things to do. The villas are amazing and so private. Definitely need to do the snorkeling at split rock and visit sand island!
We stayed at Emaho Sekawa Resort for our belated honeymoon, and it was honestly perfection from airport pick up to check-out! This is most definitely a 5-star plus resort, boasting incredible views from your secluded villa, all-inclusive delicious dining and beverages, a large range of included activities (from relaxing to adventurous), and absolutely flawless service from their outstanding staff - we cannot recommend Emaho Sekawa Resort highly enough!
I came to the resort to celebrate my 40th birthday and experienced the best vacation of my life! The staff is top notch, the accomodations are top notch, the views and activities are breathtaking and the peace was priceless. 10/10 RECOMMEND!
The incredible view from the Emaho villa with its ever changing light and rainbows was the perfect place to enjoy coconut pancakes each morning.
We so enjoyed the complete pampering provided by the staff who went out of their way to celebrate our anniversary and who were all delightful during kava ceremonies which included singing and dancing. They joke about being on Fiji time but every meal, activity and ride to the airport was on point.
This was an absolutely perfect stay. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our Fiji experience as perfect as possible. They truly treated us like family. The views and activities were breathtaking. The food was delicious with many different options each day. Above all else, it is the people that make Emaho a notch above. Vinaka Emaho Staff, can't wait to see you again soon! -Cooper and Sarah
The Emaho Villa was perfect for a couples stay! Bedroom and bathroom separate from living and kitchen area. Both available with AC or open windows with screens. The walls are glass doors for the perfect view no matter where you are! All have curtains for privacy when needed. Plenty or seating outside- chairs, loungers, and daybed (by the pool). Outdoor mosquito suppressant provided and easy to light daily. Sunscreen, insect spray, toiletries all made available.
Service provided by all workers is absolutely world class! They took our food and drink orders and accommodated for our pleasing. Daily activities and scheduling was taken care of by staff down to the details of providing towels and bottled water. Retreat staff accompanies guest to all activities to ensure safety and provide local knowledge of culture. Stunning views, perfectly manicured property, and daily activity choices are enough to make this retreat unforgettable, but the staff makes the stay at Emaho Sekawa truly one of a kind.
Emaho Sekawa Resort is amazing! My stay was magical and so relaxing. You will wake up each morning to a stunning view from your villa. The resort provides great service and helps you with everything. The staff is fantastic in every way; warm, friendly and helpful. The food was very good with choices for different palates. The resort provides a lot of activities and transport whenever it’s suitable for you.
I strongly recommend a stay at Emaho Sekawa Resort!
This is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. Perched on top of a hill over looking the jungle and ocean. Like something out of Jurassic park. Everything was outstanding, the villa, the food, the activities, especially the mud pool and kayak and snorkeling, and the best of all…the staff. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They sung us songs, prepared cava for us and did our laundry. We loved every minute of our stay in this paradise. Can’t wait to come back with family.
We absolutely loved our stay at Emaho for our honeymoon! From the minute we were picked up at the airport until we were dropped off, every need we had was attended to. We had the perfect mix of relaxation time and activities during our 6 night stay, and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities we did. Favorites were the sand island trip, scuba diving, and the waterfall hike. The food was incredible - breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served to us every day and was always fresh and delicious with a few options to choose from. Only thing to keep in mind is there is not much to do in the evenings. There are only 3 villas in the resort so hanging out with other guests can be hit or miss. We were fine with this being our honeymoon but just something to note for more social couples. I highly recommend staying here, we would most definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed in Villa Emaho for four nights in April, and it was truly the most beautiful and peaceful place we've ever visited. The villa and grounds were pristine, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The photos online do not serve it justice. Everything felt luxurious, but still connected to nature. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Every day, they helped plan amazing activities and offered diverse menu options. We visited a mud bath, Vuadomo Waterfall, and the Koko Mana chocolate farm. The highlight of our visit was a day trip to a sand island with a picnic lunch. We were able to do some snorkeling and enjoy the crystal clear waters. We’ve traveled quite a bit, but this experience was one of our favorites of all time. We also celebrated my husband's birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised him with a cake. If you're looking for a tranquil, picture-perfect escape, I cannot recommend Emaho Sekawa enough. We loved every second and can’t wait to come back.
Emaho Sekawa is a total gem! Fijian warmth and hospitality was on full display from the warm welcome ceremony to the heartwarming goodbye song. The staff were top notch. They were attentive and accommodating at every turn, offering the highest level of personalized service you could imagine. They showed genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We truly enjoyed all activities (sea kayaking, snorkeling, sand island, mud bath and waterfalls, cocoa plantation tour).
The property itself is spectacular, with breathtaking ocean and mountain views. We stayed in Villa Emaho which offered total luxury, peace, and tranquility nestled among the dense tropical hillside overlooking Savusavu Bay. The villa was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Everything was in great working order and housekeeping/laundry upon request made our stay very comfortable.
The food and service were superb! Everything was made to order with fresh, with local ingredients and served in our villa or at the bar. We were there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and the chef even made us a delicious gluten free birthday cake with cassava flour!
Emaho Sekawa Resort is truly paradise on Earth.
With incredible views, delicious food, and exciting activities, you'll be shown a genuine slice of Fiji. This resort is for fans of going off the beaten path, offering hidden gems in Savusavu that aren't swarming with tourists. Mud baths in volcanic ash, snorkeling excursions near diverse aquatic life, and traditional Fijian experiences filled with joy and laughter are in store. But if relaxation and seclusion are more your vibe, get ready to enjoy your private villa, with staff just a phone call away to fulfill your every wish.
Speaking of the staff, they are some of the most down-to-earth, generous, and respectful people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Namely, fun-loving Noni; joy-filled Mere; eager-to-help Titi; attentive and musically talented Vika; reserved but dependable Kele; culinary expert and friend to anyone, Ili; laid-back and easygoing Rusi; accommodating and hospitable Tom; considerate and caring Loi; and, finally, personable and always there to lend a hand, Sala. These are just a few of the wonderful people that made our trip so special.
There can be a healthy dose of faith when you book a vacation in a foreign country, but Emaho Sekawa will take your highest expectations and exceed them by far. Anything we needed at any time, all of Emaho was there and ready to help.
I would highly recommend this resort.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Emaho Sekawa Resort and as other reviews indicate it was the most amazing trip we have ever been on. The staff is so incredibly kind and accommodating, no ask is too much for them. We stayed in Villa Totoka and the views are phenomenal. The villa is kept spotless and the layout is very homey. We did many of the complimentary activities they provide and we highly recommend snorkeling at split rock, such a cool experience. We are sad to be home writing this but also excited to hopefully return one day, Vinaka!
Amazing villa. Everything was perfect. All of the staff are wonderful. Sula and Kele are incredible. We had so much fun on our activities with them. The food is amazing too. We would love to come back here
We are so grateful we got to spend our dream vacation at emaho sekawa. The room was luxurious, the grounds were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff treated us like family! We highly recommend doing all of the activities and excursions offered as they were all unique and special memories to us. If you are looking for a trip that pairs relaxation and paradise with culture and adventure, this place is for you!
Absolutely a fantastic resort! The staff is incredible, the meals were fabulous, and the activities were all wonderful. This was absolutely a great vacation spot and completely relaxing. Definitely do not skip snorkeling at split rock, swimming at the waterfall, or doing the volcanic mud bath. I could not recommend it more.
My stay was amazing! We absolutely loved all of the staff. Kele, Sala, Mary, Titi, and everyone else I may have missed were all great. The Villa was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable and I was surprised that there were no bugs in the Villa. We enjoyed the volcanic mud bath, hiking, river tubing, and kayaking and Kava Ceremony. I hope to return and visit my new Fiji family soon. Bula Re!
We loved everything about Emaho Sekawa. I have never been at a resort where I remember almost every staff member’s names and they mine because it is such an intimate experience (thank you Mary, Rusi, Sala, Kele, Vika, Genevieve, Chantel, Tom, Illi and Tete!). Given absentee owners the entire resort is run by local villagers so you get to experience their preferred activities. Everything was peaceful, authentic, romantic, relaxing. With few exceptions everything was included including meals and minibar, and meals were excellent and based on that day’s availability in the market so lots of variety. Definitely try the volcanic mud pool, the kayaking, waterfall hike(s). Off estate, most of the activities are organized through friends of the staff so again more authentic and better priced (my deep sea fishing with Abi, who they have known for years, was much lower than the cost of what was being asked the following week when I was on the other island). Anything I would change? I hear they are putting in a spa, so that would be good because there is not much to do on the estate other than completely relax (but do try the cava ceremony with the staff!). Maybe some morning yoga looking out over the amazing ocean views!
Emaho is not for someone looking for a 500-person multi-activity all inclusive. But if you want the most friendly staff, complete relaxation, beautiful scenery, delicious food and true authenticity, you cannot find better. Probably our best holiday stay ever! Vinaka
