"The entry to the hotel was a little difficult to find. We tried to go through the doors on River Street, but you need a key card to get in. The concierge just ignored us at the door. The valet parking is $46 a day plus tax and tip. The public parking is more expensive, which is a joke. The valet attendant on Thursday and Friday was very attentive and she worked very hard to keep up. The attendants on Saturday and Sunday were overworked and it took a long time to get our car. My wife asked the concierge if there was a luggage cart available, and he said that there was probably one by the entrance - he didn't check. I never once saw him get out of his chair. He was rude, unhelpful, and a bad face for the hotel. We asked him about walking through the squares, and he told us that we could start at the square across the street and go from there. We didn't find out until we checked out that he had a free map of the squares on his desk. That would have been very helpful at the start of our stay. The room was decent, but we were right on the busiest street in town. Bring earplugs! The pool was okay and the water was warm. They charge for breakfast, and they don't provide anything for free. The weekday valet attendant and the cleaning crew were friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were okay at times, and the concierge was downright rude. The location was fantastic - close to the riverfront and right next to the City Market. Both are must sees."
