Will be staying at this hotel again! Very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. We had an issue with our room key, but the hotel staff was so accommodating in moving us to a different room, which I believe was nicer than the one I booked!

The room was clean and the property was well maintained. It was close to Savannah and Tybee but affordable since there was about a 20 minute drive. Lots of shopping nearby and restaurants. We felt very safe in and around the property.

We had a wonderful experience at City Express by Marriott Pooler Savannah. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of convenient parking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was how the team went above and beyond to ensure our check-in process was smooth and that our entire stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to customer service made a great impression on us. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. Thank you to the staff for making our visit such a pleasant one!

They don’t have wipes or anything to clean equipment in the gym and it was noticeable. Breakfast was very limited. They clean your room after your stay is over, not during. My shower made an high pitch noise when the hot water was on. Outside of this, the staff was very kind and maintenance was helpful.

I wish I had read into the reviews prior to booking. I took the Marriott name and thought it would be fine. Just one night on the way to Disney. Lesson learned. First the pool. Not so good. It was very dirty and we found a couple large roaches and a large centipede. The door to get into the pool was broken. The elevator was questionable and didn’t smell very clean. The stairwell was worse. Just felt very dirty the entire time. Ice machine did not work on floors 2 or 3. Overall not what I expect from a Marriott. It is my understanding they just acquired the property. So maybe in time it’ll improve. The front desk girl was very helpful and friendly. No complaints about the staff.

The hotel itself was clean and the beds were comfy which is a big plus. The downside was we got double charged for our room. The lady at the front desk was helpful and apologetic but I stopped by the front desk 2 days in a row after being told the charges would disappear the first day after 12… which they did not. I talked to at least 5 other people who said the same thing happened to them. Second, housekeeping walked into our room on 3 occasions in 1 day and we specifically told them we would like the room serviced and asked for more towels ect. Each time they would laugh, smile and say ok … but never brought the items or serviced our room. We left and came back around 5-6 ish and there was a housekeeper coming down the hall. I asked if our room was still going to be serviced and she said “only if your requested or your on this list” I said well oh have spoken to 3 different housekeepers and made a request . Her response was oh well do you just want some towels then. Point being is the housekeeping service was terrible. I shouldn’t have to request 3 times and then still go get it myself after a 8 hr Waite. Also, breakfast was not good lol

I love how easy it was to get off and on 95. Also the staff were so helpful in making sure we had coffee and other essentials . However the hotel was undergoing a switch over to Marriott. and things were a little off. Like the pool was being closed for repairs. We could'nt get a room on first floor. but it worked out fine. There is a elevator and cart to aid a smooth check- in for anyone with mobility issues. Over all it was very pleasant. I would do it again.

No hot water and it was told to me after I checked in and not before. Room was $100 but an additional $100 hold for incendentals, outrageous! Had two rooms change due to bugs in bed for one and dirty microwave and hair in bed in tge other. Worst experience at a hotel in 30yrs! Initial employee at front desk during check-in was horrible and he didn't want to accommodate me for the inconvenience. I had to call customer service to resolve the issue.

NOT UP TO PAR 4 MARRIOTT All these point were discussed with very pleasant staff members & we were told: Well, Marriott just bought the property & we are getting to this… REALLY!! The blackout blind (broken)would not go up therefore no natural light in room. Toilet seat was old, cracking & disgusting. Bathtub shape made it difficult getting in. A grab bar is located beside toilet..not sure why. Mini frig looked like an igloo! Breakfast-limited all microwaved food; no fresh fruit!! Ice machines not working! REALLY NOT UP TO MARRIOTT TRADEMARK!!!
