The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was great. However i wanted to use the pool, but the pool was positively dirty and unmaintained. I understand that summer is over and there might not be as many guests coming in, but the pool remains part of the service that comes with the hotel amd why i chose the hotel for 2 days in the fiest place, so not being able to swim was a major disservice. Staff at the hotel were nice and polite, and the view from my room was exactly as i pictured it. Again, only problem i had was not being able to use the pool.

Beautiful hotel and my room was 99% perfect. I had read a few reviews that their AC hadn’t worked - mine didn’t either. Truly the only thing amiss is the AC, everything else was terrific. The view from the room is gorgeous and the promenade started across the street. My tours picked me up at the hotel because of its easy location. Grocery store next door, restaurants everywhere. The staff, amazing. If you take the bus back to Tirana, the front desk will call to reserve you a seat - which my bus was 100% full, was so happy they had done that for me!

It was a good hotel, but probably didn’t meet the expectation for the price we paid. For a hotel like this, you would expect the hotel room has complimentary water bottles, but nope. Some basics were lacking - no dental kit, soap / shampoo bottles in the shower were empty. These little things made it a bit disappointing but overall great location and view if you get the sea view room.

The hotel is greatly located within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and activities. Being a Meliá rewards member, I asked if I can add my membership to my reservation to which the front desk staff said they are not aware of what that is. Upon accessing the WiFi, I realised it was password protected, the password was not given at check in. The spa which was an amenity at the hotel did not offer massages over the weekend because nobody was available to do it. For breakfast, my friend who is gluten and lactose intolerant asked for gluten free bread which they didn’t have and also they didn’t have any milk alternatives. I mentioned this to the front desk staff at checkout who then indicated that dietary needs should have been mentioned to them at check in so that they can make accommodations. Again, this was not communicated to us, making it impossible to highlight this at check in. The room was clean and the view from our room was amazing. This property was rated 5 stars and for someone who has used other Meliá affiliated hotels in other countries, I was sure left disappointed. They do have some standards to improve.

Good location,

Hotel was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Located in middle of tourist area so it was overpriced (more that the 5 start hotel we use in Tirana with total full service.) At check in Hotels.com used an old credit card I had and the hotel could not over ride it, and use my new one. Hence had to pay cash for the stay. Room said there was a coffee maker, never found it. Also did not see there was any Room service. Food in restaurant was mediocre, and an average menu, nothing unique. Had better food at a local family restaurant on one of the side streets away from the water front.

Nice place, disappointing service

So I will start by saying absolutely not a 5-star hotel - perhaps overall a 3-star. The rooms are clean and modern, 4 star there, we also had the most beautiful view from our sea view room! Some of the reception staff are friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast… all hot items were stone cold. And the service was non-existent. The hotel served a purpose of a nice room for the night and we used it for exactly that. I wouldn’t choose this hotel for a “hotel holiday” but a very lovely choice as a base if travelling north or south of Sarande if exploring Albania. Also worth noting, the beach in the pictures is not part of the hotel - you need to pay to use the beds.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber aber Personal nicht viel Großartig ist. Kühlschrank im Zimmer funktioniert überhaupt nicht, obwohl habe ich am Rezeption diesen Fehler gemeldet habe. Die schwarze Frau, die am Rezeption arbeitet ist sehr unfreundlich ist. Für dieses Geld was ich bezahlt habe, wert überhaupt nichts. Interne Verbindung im Hotel ist sehr schlecht, wir haben Internet mehr Tage nicht gehabt. Ich empfehle niemanden dass dieses Hotel besuchen wird!
