"For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to stay at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas (NM)..! :) The city is one of our favorite destinations in the state, and we love taking the scenic route (Hwy. 104) from Tucumcari to get there! :) It was our first time to stay at the Plaza. Many celebrities have stayed there, and you can read about each one throughout the hotel. (We discovered that the Plaza was used to shoot scenes for the movie, "No Country for Old Men.") The hotel has a bar and a (separate)...

"It was clean. Excellent water pressure and hot water in the shower. Walls are paper thin. If you are a sound sleeper in need of a good shower and a decent bed this is your place. But unless you can sleep through hearing every single sound the others guests make maybe you should pay for a better hotel."

"Great restaurant and bar but both are closed on Monday and Tuesday. When you book, stipulate that you do NOT want the room (104) next door to the kitchen on the far end of the hotel. An unfortunate location with a forgotten entry area and view of the trash dumpsters. Room was spacious and clean but the location was extremely disappointing and we were put there because other rooms hadnt been cleaned."

"The breakfast was great. The only request I would have is they have a soft pillow or 2 in each room and not all very full and hard ones"
