"All Staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel in general was lovely and in a great location. The cleaning staff could pay a little more attention when cleaning the rooms but other than that, it was a great stay! Reception staff were wonderful!"

"Great location, very helpful and accommodating staff. Building is older and could use some updating; however everything works as it should and you have what you need. The owners are updating the building room by room so it won't be long until it is exceptional. Breakfast is reasonably priced (9 Eu) and is good, no bells or whistles but something for most. Overall it's a great place for a good price and the location is perfect."

"Such a beautiful experience at Reid’s. The staff was a delight and super helpful. Everything was taken care of. We needed a bandaid and the front desk had it in his jacket pocket! They think of everything! We booked several experiences with them and they all were done amazingly well. There were some hiccups in our transfers but very minor. We’ll be back!"

"Amazing place and outstanding staff. Andre, in particular, was exceptionally helpful welcoming from the moment we arrived and consistently proactive throughout my stay. He anticipated what we might need, offered thoughtful recommendations, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect. The rest of the team mirrored that same warm, professional attitude: quick to greet, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely proud of their work. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels both efficient and personal, this one absolutely delivers, thanks to people like Andre."

"Great staff, and excellent roof-top cocktail bar. Breakfast was included. Our stay would have been improved by having a shelf in the shower, a hook to hang the hand towel on, and sheer curtains at the windows. Re the curtains, there were black-out ones (great) but the other curtains were not sheer. We needed to keep them closed for privacy from buildings across the street, and this made the room continually dark & uninviting."

"I had a fantastic stay at NEXT – Savoy Signature. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The room was modern, comfortable and spotless, with a lovely view that made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout my visit, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and I had no issues at all during my visit. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I’d happily recommend NEXT – Savoy Signature to anyone visiting Madeira."

"Centrally located in town. Tons of restaurants and bars to pick from. Great hotel overall. Only disadvantage is parking is either on street or in a parking garage requiring you to bring your luggage too and from where you park."
