Bosque da Fantasia

"Title: Wonderful stay at Quinta Bosque das Fantasias ★★★★★ We stayed at Quinta Bosque das Fantasias for one night and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely friendly. The setting is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. The infinity pool overlooking the hills is stunning, and the whole Quinta is perfect for escaping the city and enjoying some proper relaxation. The food was absolutely out of this world. The veal steaks were incredibly tender and delicious, while the Bacalhau with mashed potatoes was simply superb. We also tried the house-made sparkling white wine, which was wonderfully refreshing, crisp, lightly fizzy and very easy to drink — a real highlight. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully traditional, fitting perfectly with the character of the Quinta. The host was exceptionally attentive without ever being intrusive, making us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. We only stayed for one night, but we left wishing we had booked longer. A beautiful place, fantastic food, wonderful hospitality and a truly relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return and highly recommend Quinta Bosque das Fantasias to anyone looking for a peaceful escape."

"Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We checked in early and were able to use the pool which has a great view of the valley. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Having our breakfast brought to us in the morning was excellent. I would highly recommend booking here if you want to relax however make sure you have taxis booked or a rental car as it is not walkable from the train station."

"We were so lucky to find a place like this one! The best service, attention to details and an owner that loves what he does. The staff was always so nice and available. The entire estate was spotless and the view wonderful. Few rooms, so an impeccable intimate experience. We definitely recommend."

They go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied with everything ! Our dinners and breakfast were great as well . We would stay here again in a heartbeat !!"

"Oui, c’est loin de la zone touristique, mais l’endroit vaut la peine d’être découverte! La propriété est IMPECCABLE même si nous sommes en basse saison. L’endroit est toutefois difficile à trouver mais ça vaut le détour! C’est MAGNIFIQUE! Le paysage, le calme et le charme de l’endroit, tout pour nous plaire. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner, très simple mais complet et très convivial. Merci Katia pour le service plus que courtois!"

"The property is very interesting and unique because it is a 300-year-old house with very thick stone walls. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful with roses and other flowers in bloom. The view of the valley with all the vineyards is spectacular! Fernanda is so warm and welcoming; she served us delicious breakfast and dinner with fresh fruit and nuts grown right on the property – oranges, kiwis, cherries, walnuts at breakfast (along with bread, jams, eggs, ham, cheese)and vegetables grown there at dinner — bell peppers, onions, beets, carrots, potatoes (along with chicken and sausage.) It was too chilly to swim in May, but we enjoyed sitting by the pool and taking in the view. It’s such a peaceful place."
