"This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful properties I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were incredible, the breakfasts were delicious, and our room was spacious and private. We used the pool every day and spent the evenings lounging on our separate outdoor patio. 10/10 would stay again."

The place was very clean and the staff were excellent - helpful and friendly (one staff member remembered our room number on only our second morning for breakfast!). The room we stayed in was very basic but clean. Highlights were the excellent breakfast and cool architecture of the building."

"My kids (19 amdn15) and I loved this property. Everything about it was cozy and hospitable. The grounds are beautiful and the pool amazing, they even had a stocked drinks fridge in the pool area based in honour syste. The rooms were so spacious, beds incredibly comfortable and breakfast delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Manuel and staff were very accommodating and helpful."

"This property and stay was absolutely amazing. Its located in a great part of Douro, but feels very private and secluded. Ivo was great to talk to and responded promptly to all our questions. Lidia is absolutely amazing as well and took care of us as if we were her family. The room was charming and clean, the breakfast was great and the pool was very tranquil and relaxing. We cannot wait to come visit Casa de Azenha again!"

"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. "This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area.
