Niets is wat het lijkt...

De foto's op de site lijken door een makelaar te zijn gemaakt, waar je ook nooit de hoogspanningsmast in de achtertuin ziet. Alles is oud, versleten, smoezelig, bijzonder gehorig en kapot. Een zichtbaar geplaatst leeg toiletrolletje op het toilet in de badkamer, was blijkbaar geen aanleiding het wc-papier aan te vullen. Okay, de prijs voor een overnachting is laag en ook dan verwacht ik toch wat meer... Voor de entree, een grote groep Poolse arbeiders die bierdrinkend en stevig rokend zorgt dat je door een tabakswalm het hotel in- of uitgaat. In het hele gebouw hangt een muffe en verschraalde tabaksgeur. Het ontbijt heb ik maar overgeslagen. Dit was een ervaring van 'eens en nooit meer'.

Location is perfect as you can walk into the village in 2 minutes. For further travel the high way is just around the corner and Amsterdam or Schiphol is a 20 minute ride. Beautiful nature and ancient land houses and castle are close by.. Check in is fast and easy and a cosy bar just next to the reception.

Das Appatment war sehr schmutzig und der Garten nicht aufgeräumt. Die Einrichtung wie Badezimmer total veraltet. Keine Hantuchhalter usw. In der Microwelle lagen noch schimmelige Essensreste.

Lo recomendaria a medias.

esta en la afueras de amsterdam, en Harlem, hay que usar la tarjeta que incluye region sino el transporte por viaje es bastante elevado, el baño tenia muy mal olor y contamina la habitacion, no incluye el desayuno y si lo pagas es sobre 12 EUROS PARA MI ES BASTANTE POR UN DESAYUNO.

Sauber ja - Deluxe definitiv Nein

Eins Voraus - ich hatte ein sauberes, zweckmäßiges Zimmer. Allerdings wurde dies als Deluxe Zimmer angeboten.Deluxe ist ja schon ein dehnbarer Begriff, in diesem Hotel bezeichnet er über Putz verlegte Strom und Heizungsleitungen bzw Rohre, für mein Verständnis sehr plüschige Bettwaren, kein zu öffnendes Fenster sondern nur eine zu einer allgemein zugänglichen Terrasse führende Glastür. Im Bad alte Fliesen, der Duschbereich am Boden zur Vermeidung evtl. Flutung durch ein rauhes, einfach gestrichenes Vierkantholz abgegrenzt. Dafür war der verlangte Preis schlichtweg ca 30 % zu hoch.

Huiselijke sfeer

Wij hebben dit hotel geboekt ivm een festival dichtbij, kwa prijs dachten we aan een simpel bed. Maar het was heel huiselijk, vriendelijk personeel. En komen zeker terug.

The staff at the hotel were very nice and easy parking. Our room was on the first floor and with the windows open you could hear everyone on the patio and walking on the street. Close to downtown area but nothing much going around in town. Also close walking distance to windmill. Not a bad place to stop for a night

Basic hotel voor een basic prijs

Dit is een hotel met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Een nadeel van de kamer was dat bij een open raam je van buiten zo naar binnen kan komen. In de zomer is het echter met een dicht raam erg warm. Het ligt in een leuke buurt waar je in de straat kunt parkeren.

Hometown Holland

The hotel owners are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome.. An authentic Holland experience, with a large windmill, a couple blocks away, and a cow pasture across the street. Train station is about a 10-15 min walk. Rooms are dated, but nice. cleanliness was good. It's close to Haarlem, which is a nice city to visit. To get around, it's best to have a car. If you want to go to Amsterdam, park at one of the P&R's and take a tram.

Mis-Representation

The Ad on Expedia suggested, it was a hotel room. It was in fact an apartment 15 km away from the main city limit. No restaurant or shop around. The apartment had old furniture, cushions without covers or beds without white sheets on them. The hotel keeper handed a pair of old towels in a plastic bag for my overnight stay. Definitely will not recommend, as it was mis-represented, untrustworthy. To Hotel Owner: The people are nice/ However, when you run a business, you need to be honest first and then professional about it. Don't post hotel photo, if you are renting an apartment. Please the correct pictures of real apartment. If people still want it, they will book it and will book it. Owner offered a bottle of beer to make up for the mis-representation. This was in good faith, but can not make up for the poor experience I had.

Hotel with character

Stayed here for one night, friendly and excellent service. We had a 4 person room, which was a double bed and 2 singles. Beds were fine. It's very colourful and small. Steps to our room were very steep. Normal for there, takes a little getting used to if you're from north america. As my daughter said "it has a lot of character". Close to bars/restaurants.

Niet doen

Toen wij stonden te wachten op iemand om in te checken werden wij begroet door een goed gevoed muis die door het ontbijt zaal liep. Vies. De kamer ook. Stopcontact naast het bed hing los uit de muur. Koffiezetapparaat zat nog vol met oude beschimmelde koffieprut. Ik heb er geslapen maar gelijk weg zonder te douchen de volgende ochtend.

Niet wat we verwacht hadden

Het hotel heeft vriendelijk personeel, maar de kamer was niet de kamer die we van te voren hadden afgesproken, er zaten vlekken op het beddengoed, de kamer stonk naar urine na het douche en de geur ging niet meer weg.
