The staff was fantastic and attentive to all of our needs. The room was perfect for us, and the staff attended the room at least twice a day. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown Oia. The views are spectacular. The hotel breakfast was a a great way to start each day by the pool. Highly recommend.

Perivolas was likely once a premier luxury destination, but visible aging and poor maintenance mean it is no longer truly 5-star. Details are neglected, such as unsightly hoses left in room planters. We stayed for our honeymoon, and the hot tub never worked. On our second night, maintenance had to enter our room at midnight; while we received an upgrade for the inconvenience, this should never happen at this price point. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. We left at 7:00 AM in 36°C heat and returned at 1:00 PM to find our room untouched. When we spoke to the manager, the response was dismissively that they had until 3:00 PM to clean. The only truly redeemable aspects were the location, the views, the restaurant menu, Maria at reception, and the driver's outstanding service with the airport pick-up and drop-off transfers. Otherwise, it fell far short of luxury standards.

Fantastic location…just far enough outside the Oia tourist shopping & dining area that it’s quiet but close enough to walk there in a few minutes. Gorgeous views of the bay and the sunset at night. The rooms are shaped like caves, very unique and cozy. Housekeeping cleaned our room twice a day, and the dining staff were so helpful and friendly. Easy access to main shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
