Would not stay anywhere else.

This is our second visit to the Ambassador and we look forward to the next time. The resort is gorgeous with wonderful accommodations and spectacular views. The pool on the terrace is a fabulous perk. Walking distance to Akrotiri with great restaurants. Concierge Pepi is a jewel and booked wonderful excursions

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are specious and convenient and the view from the room is spectacular. The reception is probably the only part that wasn't superb, otherwise this was one of the best vacations we have had. Totally recommend it to families

***Note - this is not on the tourist part of the island. If you are wanting a more secluded and quiet experience, this is the place for you. Everyone is lovely, room was impeccable, and all of my tour events picked me up from there without issue. The sunset views over the water were breathtaking.

The view from our room was amazing. Pepi and the staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. It's not a party area. It's peaceful and quiet. The breakfast at the restaurant was just OK but the dinner was excellent. The only knock was the small television in the room and the positioning of it but I guess with the most amazing view who needs a T.V.

Luxury, breathtaking sunset, looking over the Aegean Sea at the volcano all from your own patio relaxing in your private pool or just lounging in the sun.The Ambassador Aegean luxury Hotel and Suites is the place I’m talking about. Breakfast on your patio is a beautiful way to start your day before heading out to see all the wonderful places in Santorini. We have enjoy our 10th wedding anniversary here. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if not for the food quality and the behavior of the manager, Antonis. The hotel itself is stunning, with superb views. We stayed in a three-room suite with a private pool, and the view from our room was truly spectacular. I want to give special thanks to Eleftheria for her excellent service and to Pepi for her helpful recommendations and for arranging our reservations. However, I must express concern about the manager, Antonis. His lack of professionalism, communication, and managerial skills are a detriment to the hotel’s reputation. It’s unclear how someone with such poor interpersonal abilities was hired for this position. Additionally, the food at the hotel was truly awful—shockingly bad. I strongly recommend that guests plan to eat elsewhere or make alternate arrangements, as the dining experience was far below expectations.

Ambassador Hotel turned sour

No mention of walking down numerous stairs/ ramp in their website, I hit my head 3 times walking up the stairs in the tunnel, no warning signs to “watch your head” posted. TV had a mind of its own, was switched out twice and after the owner came down to see, it still didn’t work, turned on and off on its own. Bathrooms were outdated and dingy and the food selection for all menus were mediocre. Need more options. The day we left it rained and water started to come into room and the door by our pool kept on opening. This should be secured as anyone could’ve walked in and looked into our room if we had the windows opened. Great staff, great/ breathtaking views. I paid way too much for this experience.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Ambassador hotel for 6 days, we came for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time, the service and staff is absolutely incredible. The property is secluded and away from Thira and Oia, which are the tourists areas. If you want to save money on transportation rent a car or an ATV. Just know there is not a lot in this area for beaches, or food options, there is a nice Cafe in Akrothiri. Their breakfast is delicious, the staff is very kind and willing to please, Pepi is the main concierge and will literally help you in every way, she is amazing. This was a great place for us to experience Santorini.
