"Very unique property. Mix of historical site (originally a convent) and modern amenities. We stayed in a spacious modern room, that walked out to large grounds. The hotel included the original chapel that rivaled many that we saw in Portugal - it was beautiful. We swam in the large infinity pool and enjoyed walking the grounds. "Excellent location in the beautiful town of Monsaraz. The room was clean and spacious, well stocked and a great balcony terrace overseeing the vast plains below where we watched an amazing sunset. Many restaurants walking distance. Carlos greeted us and was very helpful helping us to out room. The property outside patio was lovely with a small pool overseeing the same view as from our balcony."
