El único detalle que no me gustó fué que el desayuno no es en el edificio ,pero eso no es problema sino que sabados y domingos el desayuno era a partir de las 10y30 de la mañana cuando lo normal es que ha esa hora finalice. y esto no lo informaron fuimos a las 8hs hicimos tiempo hasta las 9hs y los empleados de la cafereria nos dijeron que recien 10 y 15 o 10 y30 se servian los desayunos. Correctamente ante nuestra queja nos descontaron los desayunos.Salvo esto muy recomendable.

Breakfast at Wendy's

As a "luxury" room it was not. Two bedrooms yes, space to move; no. Comfort no. But clean and well located but there are so many better options in the area that are more luxiorius at a more modest price. For breakfast we were handed cupons to Wendy's. I've had some lousy hotel breakfasts but this tops them all.

Disappointing

Outdated room. Promises air conditioning but just one room has it. Tiny second room. Tiny second bathroom, not discolosed in the description. Says it has breakfast, but to get it you have to get tickets at the office situated next to the entrance and then go to the cafe the other door, not in the interior of the building.

Home in the city

We were only here for one night but it would have been comfortable for a much longer stay. Two good size bedrooms, two baths, fully equit kitchen and even laundry. Very hard to find- on a small street. We wound up having to take a taxi to find it and then another family member followed with our car- so get detailed directions.

Great place to stay for a reasonable price.

The staff is very friendly, Fernanda speaks very good English. They were all so willing and helpful for the whole time I was there. Will definitely stay there again.

Pleasant surprise

I have stayed at a few hotels in Santiago which are in apartment buildings. This one is spacious for Santiago standards, well appointed, and very conveniently located in a very safe and popular area. The staff in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. A gentleman even helped us carry baggage to the room and offered to set up a pack and play crib. If you don't speak Spanish, Matias in the office speaks excellent English. We didn't go to breakfast, but the hotel apparently has an arrangement with a nearby cafe because we were given coupons. All of this much nicer than the other apartments I have tried in Santiago. They have free wifi and free parking. The Santa Magdalena was such a pleasant surprise! We will certainly stay there again.

Ótimas instalações e facilidade de acesso

Gostei muito da hospedagem no apart hotel santa magdalena. Não tenho nada a questionar pois tudo foi de acordo com o que eu esperava. A começar pela localização, próximo da estação Tobalaba, estação com duas linhas (azul e vermelha) pude ir a Concha y Toro e a Cousino Macau de Metro num dia e no outro conhecer o centro de Santiago. NÃO há Café da Manhã incluso! Apesar de isso ser algo um pouco frustante, existe uma ampla rede de cafeterias e padarias ao redor, Havana, Castaño, Starbucks, etc. O quarto foi limpo e arrumado todo dia, com troca de toalhas (quando solicitado).

Good value for families

Stayed 8 days with no regrets - close to Metro in nice neighbourhood with lot of restaurants close by. The neighbourhood is not a character neighbourhood but it is safe and clean and covenient. Free parking for the days when we had a car - easy access to the highway. "Just Rent A Car" is in the next building and were able to rent us a car on short notice for reasonable prices. Kitchen family well equipped. Huge grocery store in a mall which was within walking distance. Big apartment with two bedrooms and two baths. While technically an apartment there was daily cleaning and fresh towels except on Sundays and holidays. Pool on roof is small and but was clean and we used it daily - bring sunscreen as there is no shade up there! Doorman did not speak English but they did in the office net door. I would stay here again.

Overall we really like the Santa Magdelena. The only significant downsides are that the roof top pool is poorly maintained, and small, and the WiFi access was spotty. We lost email access for a couple of days. However, the staff was friendly and supportive, and the location in Santiago was great.

Great place, great location

This is a great place to stay at in Santiago at a reasonable price. The location is great, easy to find and close to shopping, restaurants, coffe shops and the new Costanera Center shopping mall. The accomodations were comfortable and nice. The staff was nice, professional and helpful providing recommendations for shopping and dining and with special requests.
