Awesome place to stay with an amazing touch of uniqueness. Stayed there for two nights without a single touch point for complaints. Staff is awesome sand friendly as well. Hotel is within walking distance to harbour, restaurants and cafes. Definitely deserves a 5 star recommendation!

We loved this boutique hotel! It is the perfect location to explore downtown Santa Marta and the beach/broadwalk is two blocks away. The food was great! Wonderful breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Very good option in the old city

Very good hotel in the old city. On the first night, we had some issues with the air-con, but they upgraded us the next night. soundproof windows, which is important, excellent service, and a good breakfast. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Little gem in old Santa Marta

Hotel Don Pepe is definitely a touch of luxury in the middle of historic Santa Marta. While this isn’t directly on the beach, it’s 2 minute walk to the main beach promenade. Additionally, it’s incredibly close the main pedestrian activity of the town. I’d say the winning feature of the hotel is the incredibly attentive service and how friendly the staff was. We stayed here for 5 nights and were certainly sad when we needed to leave.

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed in,in Colombia and many other countries by a long shot. The place is absolutely stunning. The room was large and very comfortable. One of my favorites was the rainfall shower! The breakfast, included in the price, was delicious. From the freshly squeezed orange juice to the fresh food plate and the breakfast entrees. Perhaps one of the things I appreciated most was the staff. From the moment we entered the hotel, they were amazing. We received a tour of the facility and of the room! Everyone always had a smile on their face whenever we left the hotel and greeted us warmly when we arrived back from an outing. Santa Marta was a memorable trip, made even better because of Hotel Boutique Don Pepe and the wonderful accommodation and staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.

This is a charming special hotel. Everything great. It is an old colonoal era buiding that was first renovated by Don Pepe for his family and then renovated by one of his sons was an architect. Oir room had q balcony over looking the inner courtyard. Air conditioning, and Direct TV with CNN as the only English language xhannel of you want to subjectnl yoirself to the horrors of times and CNN sensationalism on vacation. The staff were super helpful with top notch service. They even reminded us when it was time to leave to make our dinner reservations Breakfast was very good. I had the cayeye which was the banana mixture with cheese. Its better than my description. Delicious bread location is great. Terrific restaurants nearby .

The stay was absolutely amazing the staff recomended us to watch the sunset on the roof and it was absolutely breathtaking. We decided to eat at the restraunt downstairs and their food was out of this world!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and were attended to in a way we’ve never been attended to before. This hotel stay has been my favorite of all hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is incredible, from reception to kitchen, to housekeeping. They were super helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Best choice you have in the historic zone

Staff is trying very hard to make you feel comfortable but lack on the details. No hot water when we arrived. Forgot wake up call for our excursion. Roach in the bath room for 2 days. Took out used glasses from our room but never replaced them. Food was regular. Cant beat the location though. Right in the center. Nice terrace on the roof. Poor selection for drinks.
