"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. "Had the best experience since even before we got to the hotel. Staff was very accommodating to getting us picked up and brought to hotel, transportation to Positano was so smooth and a breeze. "Hotel Savoia is the best location. It is walkable to the beach in under 7 minutes. It is right on the Main St which is very busy during the day but that is the trade off with location. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spotless. The view is the side of Positano and we could hear the beautiful church chimes. It is not direct ocean view if you are looking for that. Our friend had partial ocean view and hot tub which was wonderful. They give you a free beach bag and daily towel if...
