"I was very anxious to choose the correct, peaceful hotel.... THANK GOD for all the good reviews on JS YATE because we picked the best one! Everything was astounding! Perfect. All staff were amazing...i only came across one woman at the reception one time who was not as nice as the others. one girl especialy with curly hair was the nicest. clean, relatively quiet place, lovely pool area and bar, food was top tier! The manager of the restaurant & the staff were all so kind and very professional! I kept reading that it was a place/area catered to german guests but really it was for everyone. People kept relatively quiet in the restaurant and behaved well. great night entertainment - i wish i sat there to enjoy it more. I did not like the fact that people were allowed to smoke directly outside the hotel entry doors.....nasty smell inhaling it coming in and going out. On the balcony aswell, since there was not much wind too, there was usually always a nasty mist of cigeratte smoke in the air - it should not be allowed to smoke there (although my mum would be upset about that lol) It felt like a 5 star hotel to be honest........ i would love to come back! :) I am a huge critic, but this hotel was great! Minibar was not cold enough at all..... it spoiled a drink that i bought. beds and pillows were comfortable & nice blankets. clean new rooms. first day or so i heard loud noises from above perhaps but after this, i didn't really. PERFECT HOTEL THANKYOU"

"The property was in a great location next to the beach where you can swim & snorkel off. The hotel lobby and bar was nice and spacious. Restaurant staff were always welcoming and smiling. Areas for improvement were the hotel linen (the duvet felt like rough paper) & all the board games had missing pieces so none was playable."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was that the lift kept breaking down during our stay, and we had to use the stairs to reach the fourth floor. This was especially difficult because my husband has a disability. We hope the hotel addresses this issue as it is essential for guests with mobility needs. On a positive note, all the staff were friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The bar staff deserve a special mention for their excellent service and for making the best mojitos! Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful sea view. The hotel’s location is also excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. There wasn’t much variety, and there were no vegan or vegetarian options available. The juice from the drinks dispenser was always warm instead of chilled, and the water dispenser appeared to provide tap water, which we found unpleasant to drink. Overall, the wonderful staff, clean rooms, and great location made our stay enjoyable in many ways. However, the lift problems and the quality and variety of the food let the hotel down. If these issues were improved, especially the food, we would definitely consider coming back."
