We could here our noisy neighbors . Woke us up around 11h30 pm. So the walls are not isolated. Also the outdoor chairs on the picture look nice but are full of mold. But the chairs and table on the terrace were nice. Quite spaciouse appartement and great that it was on 2 floors. The appartement is very confortable. Everything you need is there. Overall for the price, it was nice. The establishment is not responsible for the noisy neighbors.

Très confortable !

Un lieu très confortable au milieu d'un très beau jardin ! La maison est tout équipée et la literie excellente. Le parking est un gros plus ! Le wifi est disponible et très rapide.

Sehr schön gelegen in 690 m Höhe, auf einem fast parkänlichem Grundstück, und dennoch mitten im Dorf. Sehr kurze Wege zum Dorfkern mit 2 Supermärkten und Cafes. Die Zimmer verteilen sich über 2 Stockwerke, und sind recht großzügig. Die Küche für Selbstversorger ist gut eingerichtet, WLAN unerwartet gut und ein netter Kamin ist auch vorhanden, den wir jedoch nicht brauchten. Das Bad war leider irgendetwas zwischen noch OK und renovierungsbedürftig und hatte Rohrverstopfungsprobleme, die laut dem sehr netten Personal in kürze jedoch beseitigt werden sollen.

Ottima struttura, in un giardino rigoglioso e ben curato, in un paesino vicino a Santa Cruz ma lontano dal caos e dal turismo. In paese sono presenti bar, ristoranti e supermercati per qualunque necessità. L'accoglienza è stata ottima: nonostante l'arrivo alle 2 di notte a causa di un ritardo del volo, una persona ci ha aspettato e guidato fino alla Quinta.L'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort e molto ben arredato. Lo consiglierei caldamente a chi voglia andare a Madeira.

Charming quinta

Was met at the airport by the owner, who took me for a drive around the village to show me where everyrhing was before settling in. He was very attentive and informative throughout my stay. The quinta is set in an extensive garden which was beautiful even in November. Can only imagine what it looks like in the spring and summer! A great base for walks in every direction. Recommended!

Appartement was prima maar de omgeving viel tegen. In het stadje is geen terras of fatsoenlijk restaurant. Erg rommelig daar.

Desilusão

Confuso, paguei e reservei clicando na imagem do enotel golfe, qd cheguei percebi que era outro o local de alojamento. Apesar de me dizerem que não havia qq ligação entre os dois, a verdade é que o pequeno almoço era no enotel mas a estadia nesta quinta. Um apartamento sem muitas condições,...um simples sabonete pequenino no wc. Tem net sem fios,...e tive de pagar um extra para ter wifi, e percebi pela conversa con a responsável que..todos tinham. Após pagar(muito) ainda estou à espera da factura. Enfim...a não repetir. Pela primeira vez utilizei este site, e pela última.

I am sure it is lovely when bathed in sunshine!

This is a nice romantic retreat (log fire in lounge), quiet and set in the woods and pretty gardens and well cared for. Nice place for a meditative retreat or base for walking. Very good wifi. The owner is very helpful and pleasant but not always on site. Apart from no TV or central hotel reception, the apartment was a good size and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Kept clean and fresh. I was alone there on business and unfortunately hit the worst weather imaginable (cold, battering rain and howling winds)...so personally, being alone, I was bored in the evenings - too cold and wet to venture out! But on the day I did explore the village, during a brief respite in the weather, I found a pretty flowery garden to walk through with animals in enclosures and far countryside/mountain views, a nice, interesting church and a friendly village bar with live music. ...And best of all the market on Sunday is only a few yards away and was wonderful, despite the dire weather. 7-8 coach loads of tourists come up to see the 'famous' and authentic market. All the local produce to nibble and knick-knacks and samples of drink (alcohol!) and Madeiran specialities. You can have a great meal there. The self catering accommodation is good if you like peace and walks.
