"Location is awesome as is the beach, the beach does have waves. Restaurants all very good as was service. Probably best food for a AI. Staff all good and helpful. Room were roomy some were recently updated and very nice. Use of sister & restaurants was great with a tram car to get you there and back. The pizza bar that stays open later was great. Nighty entertainment bands were enjoyable for us. Shows were ok. This was our 2nd time and would go back there were 9 of us. Getting dinner reservations for 9 meant we could only be accommodate at 5-6 PM or 9 PM.
Improvements: Divi has the best beach of the 2 resorts so of course you can only get floats at the Tam. Just dumb. The app is useful except for the most important thing getting reservations to eat this was horrible. With 9 of it's hard anyway can understand. We had some early birds that went to the front desk and that worked out. Daily entertainment is poor if you compare to other AI's in other countries or even in Aruba. Water aerobics twice a week. Pool volleyball twice a week, one day they never showed. The next day they were an hour late so we missed it. No day time entertainment team like most other AI's. No swim up bar. Main pool is small rectangular boring no music. If you want to sit bake play on beach or at pools and read a book it's perfect. So just don't expect a entertainment team pumping up the vibe. Pre arrival dinner reservations were not addressed nor was email communications attempts and apprequests"
"Tuvimos unas muy buenas vacation es excelentes. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas. En especial Santos del staff siempre nos atiendio todo el tiempo y se preocupó por ayudarnos. Muy recomendado"
"Everyone is friendly, helpful and accommodating! The hotel truly tries to cater to your every need the beach is easy to get to and absolutely stunning- going to be hard to ever top Baby Beach. We didn’t think it was ever too crowded , but more just the normal beach crowd
My husband and I were never bored , so many wonderful staff and guests to meet
Upgrade to the Preferred Club was totally worth it, Loved our ocean view room
The food and entertainment were fantastic and we have to give a special shout out to Shymela and head chef Jason at Portofinos for truly making my husbands birthday extra special . Made the whole vacation!
Richard in the Preferred Club making amazing cocktails and Ceasar in preferred club pool for his extra attention
Housekeeping and turn down service were perfect
Thankyou to our butler Jeff, although we didn’t meet until later in our stay( not his fault) he was there for anything we needed . We just have to get better at utilizing a butler as we didn’t really know how maximize his services.
Thankyou to ALL the AWESOME staff at UVC, especially AJ . We look forward to returning as you cannot beat Baby Beach
Overall, we will back and as first timers to an all inclusive , this is going to be hard to top
Thankyou to Everyone !"
"We had a wonderful week at the Divi Tamarijn. There were 11 of us in all, ranging from ages 2 to 67. The rooms are all oceanfront and we were close to the main pool and restaurants which was great, especially for the children. The pool areas had plenty of chairs as did the beach. The a la carte restaurants were all very good, especially for an all inclusive hotel. We were able to make reservations on the app, however it is not conducive to use for large groups or families of 5 ( my daughter had a hard time getting a reservation at Ginger, Pure Lime and Paparazzi for her family of 5) . She was told by the girl at the desk, who is also available to make reservations for you two days prior , it was because she had a large group- which we don’t feel a family of 5 fits that category. We were able to make two dinner reservations for the 11 of us and we all ate at the dinner buffet once together. Otherwise each family made their own dinner reservations. Our grandchildren enjoyed the kids club and checked out the schedule daily to see which activities they wanted to participate in. The rock climbing wall was also a hit. It was nice having access to Divi Aruba and shuttles were available to take you back and forth. It’s also a close walk on the beach. The main bar was open till 1 am and you can order pizzas, sandwiches and chicken tenders and fries which the children took advantage of. There are also bars in Paparazzi and Club Marigot that you can order drinks."
