"The cabin we had was wonderful. Kitchen was stocked so well. It was clean and pleasant.
However, if you advertise a restaurant and you are 17 MILES away from everything, that advertised restaurant better be open. We were panicked when the restaurant had not been open for over 1.5 years!!! The thought of going back 17 miles on a country road after driving over 5 hours was a deal breaker.
Although staff was super and helped us find some food in the little convenience store (which closed at...

"We stayed at this hotel for five nights. During our stay, we requested housekeeping on nights 2 and 4; however, on night 4 the service was missed and never completed. After a long day out, we returned late to find our room still dirty. We had to request at least clean towels, since a full cleaning was no longer available at that hour.
Overall, the rooms could use an update. The carpets, while not visibly dirty, are quite old and make the space feel worn. The rooms definitely need some TLC.
The breakfast included in the rate is exactly the same every single day. For longer stays, this becomes repetitive very quickly. It would be great if they could rotate the options at least every couple of days. The same goes for the wine, cheese, and grapes offered to guests—it’s a nice touch, but also identical each day.
On a positive note, the staff is friendly and respectful, and the location is great, with a beautiful ocean view just across the street.
Overall, the hotel has good potential, but there are several details that could significantly improve the guest experience."
"I’ve come here a couple of times and it’s always been pleasant this last time the night before I was going to leave these people check in. They keep the door open and they start talking on the phone very loud.. I mentioned to the front desk that I’d like to have another room. I was told nothing was available. The guy asked me what the problem was. I mentioned the woman he went over to talk to her. Have no idea what he said, but the night was miserable after he talked to her. They were making noise after 11 PM and I had to leave early in the morning so it was a very miserable last night at this hotel that I previously looked forward to going to. If you’re going to talk loud on the phone, it seems to me you might want to close your door. After the front desk talk to her there was quite a bit of noise during the evening. Someone came over to visit them again. They’re standing there with their front door open and they’re all talking there and it was just noisy and not what I was looking for Being respectful is a good thing. I am saddened and frustrated by the experience. I was told by the guy at the front desk that there were no rooms available however, when I spoke to a different guy in the morning, he told me there were four rooms that were available last night and that’s odd because I could’ve had one of those rooms as I originally requested and I would have not had this special experience. "
"1) I have loved and enjoyed this place for many years; however, this last trip failed to meet the standards of previous trips, which took time and money away from other parts of my stay.
2) On every previous trip, there has been a phone charger, a dresser, a note pad, tissues, and a desk, but these are no longer available. Can you imagine even a low-budget motel not offering a place for folded clothing?
3) There seemed to be a lot of noise this time that I do not remember from previous trips. It may have something to do with the thinner drapes, though the drapes did block out the light very well"
