"Safe area and very walkable. Excellent restaurants within a 2 block walk in each direction. Big rooms and excellent bathrooms. The only downside is that you have to change elevators to get to the rooms. One elevator wasn't working so there was often a line up and very crowded as there was only a single elevator working to get back to the room."

"Convenient location for arrival at the airport. A little confusing on best transport to the hotel but we figured it out. Room was great. Breakfast was god with a great selection of food. Would definitely recommend to anyone arriving on a late night or early morning arrival in Guangzhou."

"The location of the hotel was great. Being part of the Marriott brand, I was expecting better services n standards. Called the front desk on few occasions, but the staff didn’t sounded too friendly. I was also upset that my corridor smelled of soured durian husks for almost half of my stay there. Today surprised that durian was allowed in the hotel and the smell was left to linger for so many days. Totally not something I’ve expected from the brand."

"The stay was pretty good. We stayed here the a year before as well. I found the staff very nice, but i found this year, the language barrier was more noticeable. We stayed on the 9th floor the take advantage of the club lounge. I don't recommend it. They ony serve dinner and drinks (alcoholic) until 7:30 pm and because we were there on business, we missed out 4 out of 6 days. "

"Breakfast has no other options only Chinese food not even bread and butter for breakfast and no tea or coffee all is focused on Chinese food. On arrival during check-in my room floor was dirty toilet has hair as if someone already had a shower there. I told them to clean my room so I can use the toilet and the room floor they said yes but never done so until the next morning. Staff can't speak English not even hello. "
